Quite realistic, but i doubt they would join the central power due to Russia also being Orthodox, and both Russia and Byzantium are very religious. It is likely that they would probably be neutral, since they also had bad relationship with Italy, or they can indirectly aid Russia.

@Byzantine_Orthodox_Mapper That's regarding modern Russia and Ukraine. Religion has been affecting them a lot less since the last century, due to rise of communism and the so-called "democratic" revolutions. However, that wasn't really the case before WWI, the only exception in the Ottomans, but Byzantium is not Ottoman, and they also had a long history of winning the Rus(ancestor of the Russians), unlike the Ottomans. The Ottomans themselves also didn't seem to be that religious, especially when you compare to Byzantium. Even if they tried to join the Central Power, they would face a lot of criticism from the people and the Church, the Byzantines rarely fought the Latins( although they usually have tensions high), let alone their own fellow Orthodox comrades.
