I like the one we got a lot more- I still remember the first time I headed inside, and went from this polished, pristine penthouse to a vast, dark, damp, murky chamber- seeing the true form of Mr House in such a creepy environment was a really effective juxtaposition from the posh penthouse and his smug portrait on the screen. I remember feeling incredibly freaked out by the idea that chamber and it's grisly occupant had been hidden behind the walls of the hotel I'd been using as my home base the entire time.

@@PumkRock To be fair, the penthouse (where the Mr House main computer was located?, i don't even remember) did look intentionally rushed. Like the casino tower was all a rough concrete shell with modest furnishing, no lacquered rainforest wood flooring or anything like that you know. Btw when i say "intentionally rushed" i mean that Mr House's casino was designed to have been built fast in order to await the end of the world, thus the furnishing at the top floor. (and i guess he wouldn't care much as he was about to slumber in his pickle tube).

Don't know if you have included this this in any of your videos, but during the Come Fly With Me Quest while you're clearing out the nightkin in the basement you can speak to the intercom in the room overlooking where the rockets are and have some dialogue with Chris. In the playthrough where I discovered this the dialogue sounded like it wasn't coming from the intercom but rather like it was coming from Chris in person ( If that makes any sense ).

There's a similar thing in You'll Know It When It Happens, if you take out the Legion sniper on the tower and then report it to Ranger Grant in person instead of using the radio, his voice lines play like they're over the radio

Yes you are correct. I did the same thing and Chris sounded as if he was in the room and not talking through the speaker. It started with static like he was on the speaker and by the end of the dialogue he sounded as if he was down in the basement with yoy

This isn't quest specific, its a glitch where the intercom audio filter doesn't apply for whatever reason. Intercom lines are recorded normally then run through a filter that automatically edits them, meaning for every intercom dialogue line, there's a clean audio file.

The reason the Westside cuts happened was because consoles had issue with so many things and NPCs so it had to be scaled back. Depressing when you realize how much was cut or not done because the game had to work in an Xbox 360 or ps3. Fallout NV should have been PC only like Fallout 1 and 2.

God, so much of this could've been implemented and not have conflicted with a single thing. Like with a tiny bit more work, you could finish those quests, and implement them. There needs to be a remaster of fallout New Vegas, to add all the stuff that could be implemented fairly easily, and to be honest, for all the things it does amazingly, fallout New Vegas is a broken, buggy, unstable mess. A new engine, untangling the spaghetti code that causes quests to break, and adding a fucking sprint button would make this easily one of the best games of all time.
