Another great video Cory. I've been toying with the idea of switching to alternator power AND spin on oil filter. Certainly some good stuff here!

Thank you Sir! I put a spin on oil filter adapter to my LR engine. Definitely makes it easier and work fine. Atlantic British and Rocky Mountain makes kits. I used the AB version but the RM version looks nicer.

Looks great! Can’t wait to see how the rover drives with the additional HP! Well done!

Very slick oil filter adapter installation.👌The alternator does look a little close to the exhaust manifold. Maybe slide a small heat shield in between.🧐 This engine should work so well in the Landy! Similar RPM range with about 50 more horsepower. With the long stroke, it should have a ton of torque, but hopefully not so much as to strain the rest of the drive train. Great project!👍 I think I’m looking forward to the first drive almost as much as you are.lol

I agree, I’m going to be monitoring ALT temps. If the exhaust heats up the alternator I will make a shield. I agree again. I’m hoping the engine gives it a steady power that’s not crazy. When it’s actually running I’ll do a driving video.

That's a very neat install! - I do agree with the comment suggesting a heat shield for the alternator, but it could be quite a fiddly thing to achieve.
