A lot of people would like to think the Sonic Renaissance really started in the 2010s, back in the days when the characters were so two-dimensional that they were stereotypes of stereotypes. But while I think the (first) Sonic Renaissance (aka the Adventure/DreamCast/Character Perfection/Early 2000s Era) was from Sonic Adventure 1 to the Sonic Advance trilogy, late 2022 with Sonic Frontiers and Sonic Prime, this is the start of the Renaissance Revival.

I think watching this vid again, the thing I loved most was when you fought Giganto. How your commentary stopped, almost mirroring how Sonic himself is as Super Sonic, letting actions speak for themselves. Also, I loved how the music faded when you were preparing to parry.
