Mairo and Sonci giv me Also, one thing I will say: I LOVE that not just all that you mentioned, but both Nintendo and SEGA are also giving some love to my country, Brazil, like, Nintendo and SEGA were the ones to most not care about us, if you said the next Mario or Sonic game would have Brazillian Portuguese in it I would probably laugh, everyone didn't liked the fact that those 2 always seemed to forget and not care about us, even tho a big part of both fanbases are from here But then, a bit before Frontiers release, Brazillian Sonic Fans started a hashtag on Twitter, it got so big that it manage to get into Sonic Team and they listened and added a PT-BR subtitles for the game, and happily it was not exclusive to one game, a idea that they scapped in the very next game, since after that Origins and Superstars are also supported in our language, and that even manage to spread into other SEGA games, for example Persona 3 Reloaded will also have Portuguese subtitles, and I hope that SEGA keeps adding these for us in here and that doesn't stop! And also Nintendo, the first Mario thing I can remember being in Portuguese was Mario Party Superstars, and now in Wonder we will also have subtitles AND Voice Acting for the Talking Flowers in Portuguese I also love that in this video you did not compared Sonic and Mario, that's for me the most annoying thing ever, both franchises have different goals so it's unfair to compare and that ends up being bad for both because one game will always not have something the other has because that's not the objective of the gameplay, and they're not even rivals anymore, so not even in that sense it makes sense to compare both anymore, I liked that this video was just a fan of both franchises like me who is happy that we're getting so much content to enjoy from both

The Sonic Symphony came to BGS last year, before even the World Tour started, and it was where they revealed and played some Frontiers songs for the First Time (just like they did with Superstars Intro in London this year) The Symphony was also here literally this last weekend on BGS again

With all the exciting things mentioned in this video, the only way to top it all off would be if the next Smash Bros. game is Ultimate Deluxe and adds 12 more characters, with both Shadow and Dr. Eggman being among the 12 new characters, maybe a new Mario & Sonic Olympic Games, or even better than another Olympic Games, we get an adventure story with Mario and Sonic characters in a fun crossover, and I also hope that the 3rd Sonic the Hedgehog movie will be even better than the previous movies which are already pretty good, as well as the Mario movie getting a trilogy of its own along with a Donkey Kong spinoff movie to go along with it, unrelated to Mario & Sonic, I also hope we get a Legend of Zelda trilogy from Dreamworks, and a Kingdom Hearts trilogy from Disney, all of that would be perfect.

It feels great to now live in a timeline where Nintendo and Sega are listening to the fans and giving us what we actually want! By the way, have you ever actually played Thousand-Year Door? You mentioned being a toddler during that time, so were you able to get a GameCube when it was new?

Yup I never got to play the original, so the remake will be my first time and I’m pretty excited since most people hold it to high regards. I believe my brother had a GameCube, and I still have the Wii we got back then that has backwards compatibility, but never got the game

You're in for an incredible time, then! I don't want to get your hopes up too much, though, so I'll say that the game isn't perfect; it has some issues with backtracking, Chapter 2 is just awful, and there are certain backsteps from Paper Mario 1, like having to pay for inns instead of sleeping for free, but otherwise, one of the best Mario games out there!

For Mario I could see that if the next 3D Mario game is hard and satisfying to play. For Sonic it’s too soon to call it a Renaissance because a Renaissance lasts years. It’s an era and an era is not one year nor two years. A Renaissance is several years. Also we don’t know if Sega won’t mess up the next Sonic game.

@@blitz4506 They removed Amy and Robotnik and Metal Sonic from the original Sonic Origins so they could make you pay for other versions. There’s a reason why it says Multiple Playable Characters. Many people don’t believe this but, it’s the truth. I’ve been telling people this and I told people last year that there will be Sonic Origins Plus. There will be another version of Sonic Origins next year btw. There will be.

Honestly I think the renaissance was in the mid 2010s with Mario Odyssey, Mario Maker, and Sonic Mania. Little too early to get excited for Sonic Superstars and Mario Wonder but I'm hopeful and if we're being real neither franchise has ever really been close to death, the fanbases are too loyal

I think Mario was in a better state reputation wise than Sonic, and no where is that more clear than in their movies box office results. Sega spent a decade dropping the ball with Sonic so he dropped out of the public eye save for a vauge recollection of who he was. As a result the first movie did good but had no positive momentum from other media to build off of and the second movie only had the first movie's good reception to build off of. In comparison Mario has always remained relevant in the public eye, even if his games were playing it safe people still enjoyed them so when his movie came out and was good it benefited from all of that momentum. Getting back on track though it does seem like Nintendo wants to push Mario creatively again and that's a good thing. Sonic though realllly needed some wins so much more, for awhile it did'nt seem like Sega even care about him anymore, then the first Sonic movie came out and I strongly believe it caused a change in attitude from Sega. Frontiers clearly took some inspirations from that movie so that's why I'm so certain. Suddenly they were making decisions they never made before and seemed to be trying to learn from their mistakes. The games got a writer who actually understands Sonic and they decided to take a risk on a new animated show. It's amazing how much things have changed since that first movie came out. Sonic 3's going to benefit massively from all this positive momentum, so much that I was super confident it had a shot at beating Avatar 3 when it was still on the same day.

A lot of things can go wrong with the next Sonic game. Sega might cancel Sonic Frontiers 2 and fire the team and get a new team like they did after Generations. They might manage the game in a bad way that makes it worse and even if people love it eventually the games could go down in quality like they did after Sonic Unleashed. They could take the wrong fan feedback like they did during Shadow The Hedgehog.

If you didnt see SF productions video about it yet, it wont happen. Sonic Frontiers. You can imagine it like Sonic 1 or Sonic Adventure. What they are doing is taking feedback fron the community to finally understand what they want. Frontiers isnt just a game, its a beta of an even better game. Frontiers was mostly there to finally know how to make a great game for the community ,as well as for new players. And with the sucess in frontiers, the chance of them making a shit game is a grain of rice.
