Altima SER clutch and flywheel swap

Changing the clutch to an exedy stage 2 clutch and a jwt light weight flywheel as doing some other maintenance on the car like power steering lines. Everyone says you have to drop the subframe or take the engine out the top but I will show you otherwise!

Great video and saved me a lot of time. 2 comments: it is easier to move transmission if you loosen the drivers side rear subframe bolt and remove drivers side front subframe bolt. This will still support the engine but lower everything about 2 inches. Also to remove the shifter controller it is not just the 4 top bolts. You also need to remove the park/neutral switch, stopper bolt, and shift check. See nissan manual pg. 86 and 87.

What kind/size of socket is the flywheel bolts, I have to order one. I got my engine broke apart and don’t have that socket 😅

You can order a decent torque socket set on amazon

What's up bro where you from I need help on my hr I didn't install headers yet I keep on getting p0300 idk because I plug I n my egr and I put a 10 ohms resistor in the EGR gas exhaust temperature sensor plug every time I do like the cars goes into limp mode

2003 Altima 2.5, 5 speed, same deal? Would be cool if I don't have to pull the motor. I'm gettin' too old to lay on the ground to drop it all and no way to bring the motor up through. Just gonna put a regular ole flywheel and clutch kit in it. Thanks for the video.

Not sure about the 2.5 to be honest only have worked on 3.5 but I would think it would be double just look at clearance into the wheel wells and see if you have the room to work with. Thanks for watching!

Gear box is stock ser 6 speed and the engine is from a 2010 maxima

What brand clutch and fly wheel are you using? And do I need any special tool?

Jwt flywheel and exedy stage 2 clutch you can find the flywheel on nisformance website and the only special tool you will need is to remove the pilot bearing which I skipped but I recommend you do on your install you can rent the tool
