I always fast forward through the montage sections and just listen to what Sebastian has to say. No amount of guitar/disco/whatever music and epileptic shots will beat his humour, humble confidence and wisdom.

Loved the update but eliminate the negativity of the sprained ankle. Don’t say “this always happens” - think of it as a blessing in disguise. We watched you ride 180k with glass in your foot, then someone yank that shit out and then still not only finish a stellar marathon, you took 2nd. You’re an animal! Reflect on that, not the ankle! All the best!

Die Story mit der Gewichtsreduzierung erinnert an den Film der Marsianer mit Matt Damon :). Aber bitte nicht kurz vor dem Rennen irgendwelche Gewichtsreduzierungslöcher bohren ;). Das wird vielleicht das geilste Triathlonrennen in diesem Jahr!!!

@Sebastian Kienle - Official i know it's a question i've already made to u but... i suppose your power is a little bit different in aero position vs normal bike position. When races are so close like these days do u still train a lot in 'not TT position' ?

Fabio Mussi yes, I loose something like 10-12% of 5 min peak power I guess. For longer times it is difficult to quantify. After a couple of rides on the TT bike this gap gets smaller. But I changed to the TT bike for most of the rides now, also to get used to the handling. After riding a disc break road bike this is quite significant.

@@SebastianKienleTriathlete thx a lot Sebi. I think i loose something like 5/7% in longer effort and , like u, the gap is greater if the effort is short. But i suppose my tt position is not as good as yours :D i wish u a great race Sebi for both 70.3 and IM championships.
