This is the right way to do this. The piece you welded on to the original door panel, is that the piece that came with the kit?

Thought I had this. Ext handle works fine but inside handle gets stuck in open position bound up and won't remain free. I can feel it and see the marks. Did I cut their piece to narrow resulting in too tight of a fit? Did you have this problem? Help!
