Alton Towers Half Marathon 2022 /// SURREAL!

I did this race last year so I knew what to expect, but I still thought it was loads of fun.
Considering that you get use of the rides and the park afterwards until 6pm is amazing value!
This is one of my favourite races to do! It never disappoints, a great day out!

Good fun wasn't it. I didn't take my GoPro on the run as I couldn't be bothered to carry it all the way through a half, so enjoyed seeing some of your footage. I'm sure I saw Peter rabbit on my 2nd time through Cbeebies land. No idea how you can go wrong on that course though, it was so well marked & marshalled.

It was rather crazy wasn't it - there won't be too many more races like that I'll ever do! Brett's frustration was based on being directed the wrong way, and being called back from going the correct way. Very odd decision from that marshal!

It was great fun mate, very bumpy but fun all the same. Getting the rollercaosters with 0 queues was the real value for money!

Good performance considering the hills. And there seemed to be a lot of twists, corners, dead stops- all that would've added to the time I think.

Thanks Troy. Yes you're right my strava map looks like a bowl of spaghetti. I was mega pleased to complete it, and the rollercaosters were the perfect way to enjoy the rest of the day!
