@runningwithandy4486 For my 1st time ever I ran super close to the 2 hour pacer. Just wanted to get a PB, which would have been anything under 2:07:45. Felt great & stayed near the pacer almost whole race !

Well done! That is some result in the cold and rain. I ran Winchester Half in 2019 and it gashed down fifteen mins from the start and we were all soaking wet and our core temperatures plummeted and we stood there doing static stretches. Ran through the City, put my feet in two deep potholes full of rain water and then moaned all the way to the end, to finish wrapped in a foil and being led to a coffee shop for warmth after 2hr 08 mins. So I commend you for your run! It maybe too far for Brett but I would recommend the Farnborough Half on 21st Jan 2024 if you want a fast run. This year it was minus 5 but the run around the airport and then around the roads is super fast. Good luck for 2024 !

Well done. 5 min improvement on last year isn’t so shabby. Poop stops happen - had a few myself down the years. Taking few minutes out for loo can actually gain you time, rather trying to run through it. All things considered, it was a good day. Not perfect but not much in life is.
