I noticed sometimes it doesn't play before some launches

@@iitzfizz I wonder if it's a quirk of maintenance/upkeep? Even as a foreigner, I'm aware that Rita is (relatively) low on the priority for Alton Towers. It's one of the less attended coasters, and it genuinely feels out of place in the line-up... probably because it's a non-Secret Weapon. If certain effects for the ride are broken, then it's not the biggest issue- it doesn't detract from the experience to have it missing like say, the fog on Oblivion or the fire on Wicker Man. TL;DR, maybe the audio is broken because it doesn't affect the experience too much, and because Alton does the bare minimum to keep Rita around.

i prefer the new one, it creates a better atmosphere and really gives you chills before the launch, although i don’t actually like rita as it’s SO rough

Current Rita announcements: Launch: "Keep your head back, Hold on tight, you must escape, GO GO GO!" Exit: "Undo your safety belts and exit to the left, be sure to collect all your personal belongings" Adverse Weather: "Due to the oncoming adverse weather, it may be necessary to cease loading Rita" Ride Rules: "Ensure you have stored all your personal belongings in a secure location or in the storage facility at the end of the platform, hats, glasses, phones and bags of any kind are not permitted on Rita, eating and drinking is also not permitted on the ride, smoking is not allowed in the Dark Forest except for designated areas, you have been warned"(not perfect but that's most of it) Technical Delay: "At this time, Rita is experiencing technical difficulties, we are unsure of how long the delay may be but are working at haste to rectify the problem, in the meantime please enjoy one of our other rides and attractions, we thank you for your patience" Technical Delay #2 "Rita is experiencing technical difficulties, our technical services team have been called and are on route to the ride, we thank you for your patience and we hope to be launching again soon"(not 100% sure I got that one right) Theres a few others like "your car has made an unscheduled stop" but they pretty much never get played.

I love the Dark Forest theming I just wish they would have taken it further and gone darker, turn it into a proper horror theme and not just some overgrown trees.

The new announcements for Rita need to be added it closed like 5 times in one day and the new announcements were amazing
