I saw them open for Iron Maiden in 2017. Wasn't going to get into them because of the whole satanic stuff, I'm not into that. BUT when I heard that opening riff to Year Zero, the music grabbed me. When they played Cirice after that, I knew I was hearing pure magic. Tobias is a musical genius and his songwriting skills are excellent. You don't hear music like that anymore. I researched Ghost online after that concert, and then his sense of humor just sucked me in even more! I LOVE his sense of humor, and I adore how he brings it during live shows! I've been to only four shows, but I am going to go to as many as possible next tour. I've met Cardinal Copia three times, and I've met Tobias face to face once, after their concert. He was so very kind to all of the fans who waited for him, he spoke with everyone, signed their stuff, basically took up time with us that he didn't have to; I'm sure he was tired after performing for 2 hours in a hot costume. But he DID take up time with everyone he met. He looked people in the eye and listened to fans. He is an absolute gentlenman. He's the type of guy you'd love to have as a friend. This was a great interview, it is nice to see him speak about things he is passionate for.

Rats was my first song and I loved it instantly. I listened to Prequelle and was hooked on the first listen. Then when I started looking into the band and the Ghost webisodes, I loved all of it. The band's music stood out from the same old boring stuff playing on the radio.

From the second I heard Ghost about 2 years ago on XM's Octane, I was instantly obsessed. Every aspect of the musicianship both on the records and live to the lyrics and different interpretations by different fans, the community and togetherness of all of us fans, the amazing merch to the videos and live performances just makes my heart and mind feel happy. Having a bad day at work? Throw on some ghost. Struggles with my kids' remote learning? Throw on some Ghost. Depression/Anxiety? Throw on some Ghost. My husband and our 2 children love Ghost as well. So, I heard my friend playing Square Hammer on bass, then he played the music video for that. After that we watch Circe, and I thought it was awesome, but couldn't have called myself a huge fan, just liked their music. Then I saw them live right before Halloween a couple years ago, in a theatre. There was an intermission and everything, and it was a really fun show. I've never felt so connected to strangers in a crowd or to a band like I was when I heard Monstrance clock played for the first time. It was such a beautiful thing, hearing so many people all raise their voices and sing along with a sense of comraderie and interconnectedness. It was from that night I was absolutely a fan. I ons3isted on playing all the songs I hadn't heard through the hour drive home that night, windows down, wind tangling my hair. My best friend was with me and we stopped at a waffle house, and saw people who'd also been at the show, who were all dressed up, and we just sort of nodded to each other and it was a fun moment. I'm so very much in love with the music, the sense of humor, and the general spririt of Ghost (pun intended). Thank you so much for bringing this to the U.S., Tobias Forge. The music and goofy videos and antics have helped me through some tough times. What an inspiring artist. Much love from the U.S. 🖤

I'd like to see a musical interpretation of Ghost in film form, like an ode to Metallica's "Through The Never"; but doing it *right* in such a way that you're immersed in the Ghost concert experience. Peepeetime The first Ghost song I heard was “Elizabeth” after seeing they were opening for Opeth years ago. Been a fan ever since. His music prior to Ghost is good too imo. (ex: Subvision- Lady Morgue)

Does anybody get the impression that he's afraid of the fame? He seems really reserved and shy.

The bit about masking the Ghost band mates in regards to the 80s era of anonymity is flawless. It makes so much sense. I love it! I thought the initial mystery and intrigue of Ghost was part of a publicity stunt. I had no idea Tobias was recreating what experiencing music was like for him as a lad. Honestly, I like this truth much better than my educated assumption.

i love him cause of his knowledge and his moments of geekdom. you never know what he will say or talk about. i love hering mentions of other bands he loves. i got into behemoth due pics of both of them together (then nergal came out in an interview about best live gigs and he mentioned "nick cave and the badseeds") i swooons soooo darn hard

I fell in LOVE with Ghost when I saw the Japan vid of the Ghost version of the Beatles Here Comes The Sun, (which is not available anywhere, but should be) and I was instantly impressed by the way he creatively changed the song so slightly to mean something completely different. I adore the uniqueness of his voice, I adore the melodious tenor of his songs, I adore the theatricality of his on stage performances, I’m totally entranced by the ongoing storyline of the Papa’s, I LOVE GHOST

My first exposure was al"so the Here Comes the "Son" cover, but it was the video from Liseberg. I too loved the treatment and visuals enough to explore Ghost. I'm now a committed follower and so happy I found this band. Tobias is so eloquent and genuine. He truly is a Renaissance person and I can hardly wait to experience what he has in store for us.

Well, Tobias, I dig and fantasize over Ghost. I had a great first impression of them and now I cannot wait to see them live (got tickets already, yey!). I know that "putting a show" is key for the band so, I'm looking forward to being entertained.
