Altra Superior 4.5 Review

Strange, just got a pair of 4.5 for my son on ebay and it came with the removable stoneguard🤔

Do they fit the same as the Superior 4.0? I felt that the 4.0 were a little too long compared to the lonepeaks at the same size.

The fit feels very close to me. Because the upper is a bit more minimal than the Lone Peaks it does have a little bit more relaxed feel to it though.

@@runningwildpensacola3437 I think they've run into some production issues given the pandemic. Quick question though. If the stone guard's built in to the shoe, does that make it slightly firmer underfoot relative to the 4.0?

@@thesii213 Gotcha. Yes, the 4.5 does feel ever so slightly stiffer underfoot relative to the 4.0 but its almost an identical feeling (stiffness wise) when you put the removable stone guard in the 4.0.

Doesn't it have extra eyelet for making runner's knot?

It does not have an extra eyelet for the runners knot, however, the upper has a pretty secure fit and I don't personally feel that there is a need for the use of a runners knot on this shoe. I haven't had any issues with the heel slipping or feeling like I'm sliding around in the shoe.
