Greed is the cause of much tragedy and suffering, and you may say that is enabled by capitalism, but I disagree. I think the fault can only be laid at the feet of individuals. Capitalism has enabled countless advancements in technology, medicine, and allowed millions (if not billions) of people to be lifted out of poverty. People just need to stop being so damn greedy imo.

I can't be the only one who remembers the "paperclip generator" game from a couple years back, right? I mean, before THIS video showed its very obvious parallels to coronavirus response, that was the first thing I thought of. It was a game I heard about on some message board a couple years back and it seems completely identical to this one. You clicked on your mouse repeatedly to produce paperclips, which you could do at an exponential rate the more you did it, and it also got into some really bizarre, reality-warping lore. I myself never wound up playing it for more than a couple days worth of time, but it was pretty much the exact same setup as this. In fact now I think about it, I suppose it's likely there were other version after the paperclip one and before this cookie one.

Cookie clicker starts with you trying to build the best cookie factory by hiring grandmas, building farms, hiring miners to mine cookies, create a factory, hire bank tellers, rebuild cookie temples, make wizard towers, going into space, hire alchemist, create portals, condensing cookie using antimatter condenser, reflecting lights into cookie, make cookies out of thin air using luck, breaking the dimension and cheating using a script, but the grandmas enraged from one specific device, cursing them, making you feel panic and get more research because you need to, until the grandmas awoken and wreak havoc on the city. @Jonas Åström Hugh... At a certain point you gotta document yourself about the practices of the biggest companies all over the world. This is not a shorcut you're taking its a whole teleporter to deduce that since people need oil, oil companies will work towards whats best for the people. Same for banks, the fact you can put your money there isnt exactly the whole money making scheme. Most of their practices are not beneficial to most people. Sure some rich people benefit from it when investing but even them are getting fcked by the banks.
