I went a different route as I need to be able to work from my rig, but if I would not have to work and would just be adventuring - the new Alucabs look amazing. In this case, we are switching the roof up. Many customers like the style of the flat aluminum vs the tread/diamond plate. For the full size, I prefer the larger single window than 2 smaller windows.

I want to build one like this; it's a perfect setup! I would only add the spare tire carrier as an extra option. Btw, a nice touch with the Matte paint protection film it's hard to tell if the original colour is grey or black, which one is it?

The spare tire carrier wont be able to hold the 40" tire this truck has. It is actually a Satin Black Wrap on a Black Truck - Not PPF.

It would take a fair amount of work and it hasn't been tested with that kind of weight. I think it would require a bit of modification.

I have, and we have modified a few trailers at our shop here, to enhance the functionality. I don't think I am personally a trailer guy. I sincerely think a truck bed camper is superior because of the ability to keep the truck a bit more compact when navigating narrow trails. I am a bit of a psychopath in wanting every vehicle I have to NEVER limit where I can go, and a trailer worries me a little with that. I think if you are sticking to mellow trails and open desert areas, a trailer can be a really sweet option to keep your vehicle lighter and still bring a big setup for a family. Who knows though... maybe I will change my mind.
