Btw D if you read the grey lancer novel is implied to use the stanza sword style which basically cut the objects very existents and concept and possibly soul as a character cut a projection of a vampire and it cut the vampire in real life to its and thats before using the records and not powdered up it just literally his technique

What I love most about Alucard is that, unlike many powerful and important vampires, he abhors his undead life and considers his immortality the worst of curses, reminding us of other iconic tragic vampires like Eli from "Let the Right One In " or Louis from "Interview with the Vampire". As Count Orlok said in "Werner Herzog's Nosferatu": "Death is a horrible thing. But there are things even more horrible than death..."

Similarly, in the first novel D quotes his father in saying "Transient guests are we." It's more philosophical than emo, a recognition that one's time in the spotlight or while ruling others will eventually pass no matter how hard the immortal Nobility try to prevent it or pretend they'll be in charge forever. D isn't self loathing, but rather feels angry at the Nobility for feeling superior/immutable because of their immortality.

I don't remember if it's stated outright or just implied, but D is "supposedly" the product of one of Dracula's eugenics projects. He was functionally made to be the pinnacle of dhampirs, if not outright superior to pure-blood vampires.

Not eugenics. More like Skywalker or The primarchs from The Emperor of Mankind. Eugenics is just selective natural mating. Which eventually, starts to blur the lines of inbreeding. like with domesticated animals. D is the perfect form of being to live in that dimension/planet. He suffers from none of the vampire weaknesses. Id give the win to D. But at least Alucard actually displays a huge amount of humanity.

D comes off as insanely muted, but Hideyuki Kikuchi sadly trips over the usual issues most Japanese light novel authors do. Actually getting to see him smile - noteworthy for me are the little brother in vol 1 and the kid that goes to a school after the deaths at that seacoast town - does a much better job of showing his humanity than the writing did.

While we can see from afar that D is doing things to protect humans, he never says why he why and he very rarely shows some genuine human compassion.

Yeah, I definitely got Alucard winning this one. I didn't hear anything from Vampire D's side that I felt like Alucard couldn't handle. Alucard has counters and defenses to anything in Vampire D's arsenal. Alucard has fought and defeated being who can control fate and destiny, those concepts essentially being the ability to write what transpires in reality. That was D's ultimate trump card and Alucard has already defeated beings with that ability. Alucard has killed death itself which literally is impossible, so he should have no problem killing D regardless of him removing his name from that book or being immortal. Alucard defeated death who has instant speed because he kills the concept of distance. Alucard was able to react to that and defeat death in battle. Even thr guy arguing for D was starting to concede

But I guarantee that 90% of the prime fanbase would be escatic for a fight where the two have that many similarities. I also think that too many connections can be a bit boring, but nowhere close to as boring as two characters with no connecting factors whatsoever.

No it doesn't. D' existence is BEYOND the Akashic Records that controls everything in existence, including higher Dimensions like Valcua two prision, which is a 5D structure. D is at least 7D with the Akashic Records. Alucard is not even close to be at this level. And lastly, regeneration. D can regenerate even the fount of life being cut, which is a concept deeper than the soul. Alucard can't do anything.
