Thanks for your valuable information. I have building with ACP on the exterior, since 2010, for a few years it was ok but after 5 years it started leaking, I had refilled the joints with Dow Corning 789 silicone sealant, it hardly survived till two years and it started leaking again. Can you advise me a better weather proof sealant. I stay in Pune where the maximum temperature goes upto 42 degrees hardly for a week in summer.

If is plastered surface then the level may not be correct so it's not advisable but it's possible...if it's granite surface, ply surface, gypsum board surface then we can paste it with adhesive.

Fireproof inner is expensive. Only the supreme lord would know (sic) how the UK councils' contracts are awarded. Corruption takes a different form there than here in the third world. Majority of good contractors simply have no hope of winning government contracts, so they just opt out.
