It's equivalent to 1.2 kg / liter. Always use LITER AS BASE to make the common man understand better. Example: List of densities of materials, Air (at sea level) = 1.2 g / Liter LPG = 550 g / liter Petrol = ~750 g / liter ----- Water = 1 kg / liter ----- Milk = ~1025 g to 1035 g / liter (~1.03 kg / liter) Iron = 7.9 kg / Liter

You missed on costing. Also advise if they both can be mixed before application or if putty can be applied first and then pop can be applied only for finishing...

@@extra2ab depends, putty is just a generic term for all kinds of products with different price range, in China for example many kinds of putty are actually cheaper than gypsum.

@@gaweyn thanks for the information. Good quality putty is 5 times the rate than gypsum in india. Only problem is that gypsum is not waterproof. I learnt a lot from working last 2 months at painting. Now I do work at one fourth the cost

I am curious about your assesment. In Canada wall putty is essentially acrylic and fine ground perlite, has very low tensile and compressive strength, has very little water resistance and can only be used for dry area interior applications . When I use pop I add 50% lime by volume and the performance of this mixture surpasses pop in every respect except that the applicator must be highly skilled whereas putty requires very little skill .what type of putty are you referencing?

He probably refers BIRLA WALL CARE PUTTY available in India. And the pop he is referring to is called Gypsum. Plz revert if you differ.

Very clear. Sir prepair a video on various types of emulsion paint such as apcolite premium emulsion, royal luxury ,promise interior,velvet touch, berger bison,easy clean for interior painting and Ace ,Apex and ultima ,weathershield ,weather shield flex ,suraksha plus and excel total for external application .there is lots of confusion and witch chemical (solvent, binder, addictive ) makes the difference. IS 5411:1993 and IS 15489:2004 is also silent with this classification lower to higher grade of paint.
