How long are the Door tools,the whales? What is a good length for a door tool? Thank you! It came out great!

These whale tails are 24 inch length. I think the larger heads are 1 1/4 inch and the smaller is 3/4.

For a door tool. Both A1 and Dent Craft make some good ones. Usually need an couple different sizes. The ones I have are about 22 inch with a 90 degree curve. Usually that 22-29 inch range is good for doors. Also the diameter of the tool matters. Smaller sizes will fit better down a door but may have some flex.

Can it be done on the front fender flare?

It sure can. Fenders usually have good access to get behind the damage to push out the dents. Here’s a recent video of some damage to a fender. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eKTJfZqOg9yApbs Now if the damage is to a plastic fender flare that is attached to the fender panel. Then it might be easier to just replace that part.

+kenramirezchs The cost of paintless dent removal can be different for each dent. The basic cost can start at $100 then we would add $50 for each inch in size. Now other factors effect the cost because of the difficulty beyond just the size of the damage. These include aluminum, limited access, Sharp dents, a crease, glue pulling, and any removal of interior panels. There are other factors but all these come together get the full cost of repair. Once we can look at the damage in person. We use software that calculates all these factors to give us a price estimate for repairing the damage.
