How wide was the tip on the whale tail? Is that all you used on that repair ? Looks great
@ProPDRofGa6 жыл бұрын
straight lines If I remember right I alternated between a standard head and a wide head whale tail, I tortched the end to slide through the glue easier as well, I only remember using whale tails as the crease was right in the middle of a brace inside the door. I appreciate the compliment.

Can you tell me what tool is was that you used? You m actually going to attempt this later this week
@ProPDRofGa2 жыл бұрын
All of our tools are purchased through PDR tool distributors. I can’t remember what tool was used, most likely a whale tail or J hook of some kind.

What’s the prices for pdr? Obviously it varies, but on average for smaller dings or creases...
@ProPDRofGa4 жыл бұрын
Typically a 1 inch dent starts at $150 and increases by $50 per additional inches of damage, if the panel is made of aluminum or if the damage crosses a body line that would change things a bit, typically by about 25%.

How much was quoted for this exact repair ?
@ProPDRofGa3 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry but I can’t remember on this one, safe to say it was considerably less than a conventional repair at a body shop

This video is weird he tried to say it’s not fake…ok well I hope so…but then speeds up the entire repair and doesn’t show any technique. What’s the point of this video? How tf am i supposed to do that?
@ProPDRofGa Жыл бұрын
You’re not supposed to do it, you’re supposed to call a professional company that performs these repairs….this is not a DIY video….you can’t fix this even if I handed you the tools and stood by you telling you what to do. It takes years of training to fix damage like this.
