The bike breaking is whatever but the way they responded made my blood boil. If I'm buying a bike brand new it means I trust the company to be honest people. Orange clearly aren't.

Really cool video. Living in the UK I love that I can support a brand that still makes a product in the UK. I own a switch 7 and phase mx and both bikes are amazing. Really great geo on the switch 7 that makes it feel like an absolute weapon on the downhills. I really don’t get all the negativity around the brand, people should go out and test one before slagging them off.

I watched a video that was a couple of years old, and the guy was riding an Orange bike FS and it broke in half, guy had to be rescued, and it took months for him to recover. He sent the bike back to orange and they said they would take care of him replacing the frame but NEVER did. SO it's up to you if you want to buy one. For me, NO WAY! If you don't stand behind what you build you don't deserve the business! Guys name was Alex Anderson and video is still available.

In the end I actually enjoyed the factory tour more than expected, not too detailed but interesting and relevant insights to a small companies business. I even like that so what unusual frame design. The guy seems friendly and competent and so seems the staff. Surely someone made mistakes when handling that warranty case but that happens with so many companies, people just don’t get to know about it.

If the "handmade in the UK high-end" frame had just broken, it wouldn’t have been such a big deal. But the aluminum frame literally fell apart, and Orange responded by asking the owner to take down the crash video and negative feedback. It was actually the manufacturer's reaction that led to Orange facing the backlash. Plus, the subpar quality of their frames and their inflated prices have been an open secret for a while now.
