While Ludwigs animal food tierlist wasn't exactly a million dollar idea, it did make the collab unique and was really refreshing for returning viewers. So even though I hate ASMR, an ASMR collab could be cool.

Having watched the other gals' visits first (due to this upload not being first), it's funny that she was so far off on the actual number the others could handle with Barbara... 😅 _edit: But yes, this totally needs to get turned until a new visitor game. Could even have it be a donation rally. $50 per roach, until the anxiety starts hitting, then it's _*_$100_*_ for each..._ 😁

Hey, I just learned that predators like pumas and bears, are more afraid of us than we are of them. Do you have any videos discussing which ones do and why, and which don't and why? I think that would be very interesting. Also, I just learned in a Maya Daily clip (not sure if that channel is owned by Maya 😅 I hope it is) that most snakes won't actually eat humans, so, they don't have a reason to be hostile towards us, unless we invade their space. That shit's dope asf to learn about!

Hi Maya, I know you probably won’t read this but if you do, any feedback will be much appreciated! I volunteer at an exotic animal rescue with over 300 animals, including but not limited to primates, farm animals, parrots, small animals, and reptiles-including alligators. They even have native residents like a coyote and a lynx. They are struggling to say the least. It is a home-based rescue that runs entirely on donations. Their backyard is overrun with farm animals, their garage has about 30 parrots, their house is full of reptiles, and they have a mobile home dedicated to the small animals. However the building that holds the rest of the parrots as well as the monkey is in ruins at this point. It’s fully built of wood and it’s falling apart, and their monkey enclosure has holes that cause any kind of weather to leak inside and wreck the enclosure. They’re trying to rebuild it completely but they’re so under the radar that it makes it difficult to get the money. The owner works a part time job every day and full time on weekends, and her husband has a full time job. They run entirely on volunteers. They truly have the best intentions but the amount of animals and finances needed to maintain them is catching up with them. They are also dealing with a rat infestation. They don’t adopt animals out, and are constantly put into situations where they are pressured to take more animals in. They currently have t-shirts for sale that all go towards rebuilding the primate building but they have barely scratched the surface of what they need. They do educational programs and events but not many people donate. I’d hate to see it get to the point of them shutting down completely. Their food expenses alone have doubled in the past two years. They’ve had the rescue for over 12. I want to do everything I can to help, but I’m not sure how big of a difference I can make. If you have any ideas on how to grow the rescue and give it the light it deserves, please let me know. The rescue is called Safe Haven Exotics and Educational Adventures. They have a website. Thank you for any advice you may have.

That sounds less like a rescue and more like an animal hoarder that happens to have exotics. I'm so sorry to hear that.
@Bugg019227 ай бұрын
@UhOphelia no, it is a rescue. They strive to care for the animals in the best way possible, however the area they’re in isn’t in their favor, and they aren’t in the public eye as much as they were before Covid. Please don’t make assumptions like that.

If you flip over some rocks and logs in the woods you're bound to find them! They're actually really common, I'm surprised you've never seen one (unless you live in an area that they don't live in)
