I'm curious if you recovered and if so, how?
@daysoftheboo2 жыл бұрын
@@DunderHead.5000 hi thank you for asking , I don't know if recovered is the right word I would say in a better place mentally and physically At least much better than how I was years ago because I did develop PTSD and CPTSD therapy has helped a lot I have a wonderful therapist unfortunately I did develop eating disorders and I have osteoporosis because of it, it's sad from what I've learned most children will develop some kind of physical issues be it eating disorders, self-harming, severe panic attacks from childhood trauma, it's not something you escape from without damage being done unfortunately I believe we can heal but we'll never be fully healed, like a dish for example you can break it you can glue it back together but those cracks will always be there
@DunderHead.5000 Жыл бұрын
@@daysoftheboo I don't believe in full healing but I believe in accepting it and doing the work. Wheither it's CBT, DBT etc. It's all about desensitizing yourself to past traumas. I'm glad you found a good therapist. We don't have that here. I've been yelled at, cussed at because I challenged the therapists to do their jobs. One told me they were just there for a paycheck. It's hard to heal when there are so many current triggers going on and no help. It amazes me that they can keep a job.

I'm very impressed that this franchise remained independent for as long as it did...and now they want to sell, sadly. According to an interview with Janice Karman, her and Ross's kids Vanessa and Michael don't want to take over the franchise (it's already enough work helping their parents with the current show) and would rather do something else. I hope they add some fine print that'll allow this franchise to retain its integrity...because whoever buys it would probably ruin it more than it already has been otherwise.
