I did my mourning after the Eagles game. I've been a fan and will always be a fan. I'm just not a delusional fan like most Saints fans seem to be. No Oline and defense tackling like football players. How could we win? The foundational aspects of our team are completely missing.

We were an injury or 2 away from this falling apart when the season began. Eric McCoy, Cesar Ruiz, that started the domino effect. Who thought that losing McCoy/Ruiz would be that impactful. That’s where this all began. At least next year, our o-line will be pretty solid if healthy. The o-line is signed. The rest of the team has a lot of question marks. Will a new coach want Rattler? Will he bring in his own new QB? Man this is frustrating.

When healthy, this is a different team. So I don’t think Mickey will break it all apart now. If we were fully healthy and this happens, different story. James, you had a really positive tone just last week saying you were 'all in' with Spencer. As a fan in Texas, I went to all the games in San Antonio at the Alamodome after Katrina. And there was a short-sleeve T they were selling that had only 1 word on it: FAITH. The Fleur-de-lis was used at the top to round out the letter A. And that's what it's all about now - coming together; believing. Maybe, just maybe, this 9-day break arrives at a good time. Remember when the schedule came out? Holy moley, we were likely expecting another 9-8 season. And we were expecting to be around maybe 1-4 after 5 games. Division games, you can toss those out. Those are bad-blood games. The BEST you can do is split those games each season. If we get revenge on atlanta and tampa when we get healthy and then sweep carolina, it's a new season. Remember, the goal was just to win the division. Atlanta likely wins this weekend and hopefully Ravens take care of the Bucs. Then they face each other next week. There's a lot of football left, bro. Ak is right Loomis hasn't constructed a team to be a winning team this year. This year draft and off-season moves were bad. I gave them a D. Dennis is a bad head coach. I say fire Dennis Allen Robert Woods and Mickey Loomis to leave next year. I say hire Robert solah as defensive coordinator and we should keep Klint Kubiak as offense coordinator and offensive staff. I think we should trade players to get draft capitol and prepare for next year. I don't see them make a difference for the rest of the season. Like my Grandpa said there's always next year. I think the defense is exhausted during this 3 game stretch. 80 plays against KC, the defense played 74 snaps against Tampa. You can see they were exhausted in the 4th quarter against Tampa. I think the defense will look better against the run game next week. The Saints offense has to put some drives together, and the defense has to help themselves and stop teams on 3rd down.

Season ticket holders should start cancelling now and resolve not to get a single ticket again until Allen is gone. We have no team right now. You may not have wanted to say it, but Kamara pretty much said it: Allen has lost the locker room. And it's right for him to lose it. If you're going to treat your players like dirt unless they're on your list of favorite people. When he makes sure you know that no matter how good you are no matter how much you are a leader, if he doesn't like you, doesn't think you're "his kind of person", you'll get traded for an insulting pittance like CJGJ and Winston. You've seen the team staffed with players whose only qualification is that they are Derek Carr's friends. You've seen incompetent players like Penning who are brought in not in spite of the fact that they are over-aggressive penalty machines, but because they are over-aggressive penalty machines. It's team design by that "back in the leather helmet days there weren't no unecessary roughness penalties" drunks wasting space in every sportsbar. I knew this was going to be a disaster in the beginning, all the people loving and celebrating the fact he was starting fights in training camp. That's not a good thing, people! "Oh but he's a beast! He's an animal! He fights!" OK, fine go get another jager and bore us all with a long rant about how underrated and misunderstood Gruden is. You've heard him be incapable of taking any responsibility without immediately saying afterwards that's actually it's someone else's fault. You've heard him praising Carr's "leadership" while he's out there blaming you for his mistakes and disrespecting you on national television. As a player, why would you not have lost faith in Allen? Oh, but Allen is a defensive genius right? He'll get the players in line, right? Everything is just Carmichael's fault. Our offense can't move the ball with Carmichael nowhere near? Carmichael's fault. Kubiak can't figure out how to call a play without Hill because he always had Hill on his Madden team? Carmichael's fault, right? Allowing 7+ yards a rush? Somehow still Carmichael's fault. I spilled my coffee this morning? Is that Carmichael's fault? No, I guess that's on me, but my coffee mug really needs to execute better. It needs more Not Falling Out of My Hand drills. Don't get me wrong: Carmichael was an incompetent idiot. But he wasn't alone. We need to get rid of Allen ASAP. But we need to go further than that. We need to get rid of the worthless "team culture" that he brought in. We need to stop taking the Raider's cast-offs. Because after all the Raiders are just *such^ a well-run team that makes *such* good personnel decisions. What are they doing when not getting arrested? Losing. They seem to be in such great shape at the moment too. Is there any team in the NFL worse run than the Raiders? Well, yeah, obviously be Browns, but not counting teams like the Browns whose reaction to seeing another team make a bad decision is "hold my beer and watch this" the Raiders are on par with the Jags and Jets on the list of Second Worse Run Team in the NFL, since the Browns have already been given the lifetime acheivement award for worst run. And that is the team whose garbage we've decided to pick through? We're going to have to cut or trade half of the people left. I hate to say it, and there are a lot people who are going to get traded or cut who deserved new contracts instead. But at this point, 20% because of injuries, and 80% because of Allen and the carnage had has inflicted on the roster and culture of this team, we have no hope this season, we have no team left. Fire Allen. Trade Carr for an insulting CJGJ style pittance to whoever will take over his contract. I'm sure they can go on Gruden's podcast and whine about how unfairly they've been treated. Get rid of Penning so start his job as a bouncer (he can specialize in continuing to kick out people 30 yards across the street after they've already left), or hawking "health supplements" on the net. Write an apology letter to the fans, and firesale the rest of the players we can't afford to keep anymore for as much cap room and draft capital, and rebuild the team. We don't have a choice. We at the point where we need to burn it down to ashes until it is cleansed from every fingerprint of Allen, Carr, and their ilk, until it is clean from every molecule of the horrid "culture" he has built. We need to make a new team from the ground up. Yeah, it's an awful thing to realize as a Saints fan, but that is the situation we are in. I can't believe I bought into the optimism at the start of the season, and turned off the logical part of my brain out of a desire to see the Black and Gold win. Fail Benson and Mickey Doom-us, what do you expect? then they chose the worst head coach choice possible after they had the opportunity to get someone much better. I will not watch another game until they make changes. It just feels like 3 hours wasted I wont get back, and for what? an embarassing loss, a snooze fest? I have 5 video games that are extremely fun i'd rather play right now And the bad defense is on Dennis Allen, he's playing zone and getting shredded allowing big gaps in the middle of the field. When they're better in man coverage. That's just one example, and even when they had the chance to win these games, they were allowing too many yards and allowed the other team to come back and win because they were treating each play like hail marys and they were gaining bulk yards every play

Those ones in the stands you speak of are slow...this team been bad. Ever since the first day mickey loomis hired da and then made it worse by overpaying for a mediocore QB. I already knew since last year game 2 that it would take 3-5 years to fix this team. So you fire DA now a new coach new system new players thats another 2-3 years so yep we gone suck for a while

The offense is so bad I think the defense just mentally clocked out. They just don’t believe in the offense and they are in self preservation mode.
