Too many people want to make scouting reports after two three games. That's not enough of a sample size to get anything definitive. Remember he's still a rookie so the jury is still out.

Let’s be real here, Rattler hasn’t really shown anything in game that’s been impressive. Haener has looked better in terms of vision, decision making and accuracy. But Rattler has the better arm strength and thus higher ceiling so they’re going to go with him.

Haener has only played when the defense is playing prevent defense which lets you do pretty much everything.

I agree with rattler having the better upside, which is why I wouldn’t be mad with him sitting this season, but his mobility unlocks more for the offense and is probably easier to gameplan with. especially with kamara trying to carry the offense, the skill difference between jake and spencer doesn’t really matter now

Daniel’s, Williams, they had the starters around them, saints lost all the starters and leaves the whole defense to focus on Kamara. Killed the the whole offense with everyone dropping out

I don't know if they will stick with Rattler for the Chargers game, but if so we can maybe see what he can do with better weapons/o line. Ruiz and Patrick (o linemen) are expected to be back, Olave is likely to be back from the concussion, Hill seems slated to come back...

can't make a scouting report with less than 4-6 games. But I'd agree with James C- or C+ would be about right as of right now with this roster. But I think just saying he's a 5th round QB is not telling the whole story. I think whatever round he was drafted in is irrelevant. I think he's just as good if not better than Nix. There were just more pressing needs for every other team. He was the next QB drafted after Nix.

joe woods needs to go, doesn't get talked about enough for what he has contributed to this defense. spencer is still in the read half the field form of his career. he has been okay but needs more time. a better running game would go a long way.

Rattler needs time. Twice he ran the ball and missed open receivers. It's not all his fault, he's just anxious.

I think the biggest thing is these reporters and analysts not doing actually research on what they’re talking about. Like Rich is saying yeah i know they have this player out and this guy gone but Spencer not ready and also he didn’t even mention we have most our oline out. It’s like uh brother what do you expect him to do?. I feel like he is only saying this because he is a 5th round. But if you actually look into it rattler is the 7th QB off the board. Rattler isn’t 5 rounds worst than BO nix. He is a lot closer to the 1st round QBs than being an actual 5th rounder

Spencer Rattler's career is being destroyed by Dennis Allen. Jake Haener has more experience and should have been the first option. I forgot, look at Peyton Manning first year in the NFL and how did he turn out?

in richs defense look at the packers they had willis step in keep them alive flaco just gets off the couch ready steelers have 2 qbs dalton subs in for panthers they win his first game again i dont think rich knows rattler had 3rd string and 4th string linemen protecting him saints shouldve paid some veteran qb a 1 year deal incase of this cause at least then you dont kill rattlers confidence
