One of the very best solos I´ve ever heard. Deep, sweet, sad and melodic. Of course it was Alvin Lee playing it, one of the best guitar men in last 50-60 years.

It is actually George Harrison playing the guitar in this song. Alvin wrote the words and the music . He talked about how George blew him away playing so softly yet so powerful. Alvin said all he played was balls to the wall. And this taught him differant

Impressive! Thanks for sharing. There's something that doesn't sound like the original solo though. Eg. at 5:04, the quick legatos on 17 and 20 of the first and second string sound different. In the original song you can clearly hear that those notes are played faster and it plays for 6 times + another one before the bend. I wasn't able to understand what Alvn Lee did honestly. Maybe the notes are the same but they are just played faster
