That was absolutely fascinating, many thanks for taking the time to go into the level of detail you did. For a 1970s (I believe) design and build I'm really impressed with how effective I imagine it would be.

Thanks for your comment.... much appreciated. You might find this video of the restoration of my CVRT Sabre interesting. The Striker was sold to a museum in Canada kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYbKg3WIj9Zkpbc regards Paul

Served on 438 and Striker. Striker had a thermal sight fitted and the storage bins mounted to the top, down the side housed the gas bottles..

Really wish I saw the last 10 seconds of this before 2 days in a Sabre but the tip is a lifesaver anyway.

Sitting on top of 45 gallons of petrol in something that has the armour of a Kit Kat wrapper. I bet the Commanders loved the tank designers.

Not a word about how to drive and relevant controls. Fancy that. Without driving the thing to the battleground all the rest millions worth of equipment cannot be put to use.

Presumably the same as other CVRTs. This is the only vid I've seen going into detail of the differences of this variant.

Wonder how many of the instrument panels, gauges & equipment in the cockpit that can be replaced with their more modern counterparts and make the vehicle ever so slightly more spacious for the crews.

Probably replace them all with a mobile phone and an App !! regards Paul

Did you say it would cramp inside the vehicle? See how much room you did in a Scorpion or a Scimitar fully bombed up. Of coarse on exercise they wouldn't take the missiles. So plenty of room to hold dance in one lol

lol.... made me laugh. Thanks for your comment Andy 😎👍
