I love both movies, but I probably like Always Be My Maybe a little more because I can relate to it personally. I’m an Asian-American woman who’s from San Francisco. Though my Filipino heritage is a little different from the characters, there’s still some traits I was familiar with as I was watching it. I can relate to Sasha who dates these guys who are not suited for her, and I can relate to Marcus who lives at home with their parents because they feel stuck (Side-note, I still live at home in SF because renting and leasing is NO JOKE)

Ok so this is like pitting an octopus against a jellyfish.. both are smushy creatures who live in the sea and have tentacles and are super beautiful but are NOTHING ALIKE in any other way.. these two are both love stories with an Asian cast and are on netflix.. other than that they aren't comparable. One is a grown couple who have a past and find that they love one another. The other is a teenage puppy love story about a nerdy girl who falls in love with the popular boy (just like every movie made in the 90s .. think of Freddie prince jrs entire career here lol) they are both good movies but they're for different audiences and don't belong in the same category at all. This vid just doesn't make sense to me..

I’m not a fan of romcoms at all. I saw no comedy what so ever in Always Be My Maybe. It just seemed so awkward and weird. I was kinda disappointed on how the story ended? Ive never seen To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before because the “boots” part was so cringe. I was given the book by my brother but just so cheesy. Again I’m not a fan of romcoms but just had bland ass jokes. Maybe ok for you but not for me
