It's incredible how God transforms everything, a misfortune turned into living testimony. I lost my leg 21 days after I was born. But there is not a single day in which I do not see the hand of God providing for the prosthesis, giving us every day what we need, faith, self-esteem, purpose, God bless this family, and find the joy of the Lord always.

Oh, Ciara! I just love you so much! I am a 60 year old mama and grandma who had a difficult time raising my 3 children with chronic pain. I’m still in pain today, but I can look back with gratitude. Thank you for sharing your life with the Body of Christ . We need real examples of others overcoming challenges, and teaching us how to keep leaning on God through it. I love you, sweet girl!

Wow! Wow! What a fantastic testimony! Jesus saved me 51 years ago, and an attitude of gratitude gave me victory over tons of battles...such as a husband who walked out on me and my 7 young daughters, to God granting me an awesome husband 43 years ago who adopted them all; but Ciara's story brings me to a new level of gratitude! "Many are the afflictions of the righteous" and now at age 77, it's easy to feel sorry for oneself, but you both inspire us to turn our petty sufferings into thanksgiving, as you describe the joy of the Lord! Thank so so much! We put you on our prayer board to pray for your family to continue this great Gospel outreach of love and the power of Jesus. David, you are amazing as well! Can we purchase a CD of your piano playing? Just beautiful! All my family watched the youtube and there wasn't a dry eye. We can't wait for Heaven as well. Jesus said all true Christians must "deny yourselves, take up your Cross" and follow Him in this fallen world. Can't wait to see you up there!

Prayerfully you & your husband will grow old together and see beautiful grandkids..fruits of your labor. When we’re sad our kids are sad too..I went through a hard time with a child suddenly on the autism spectrum it was so hard it seemed as though our whole life was changed overnight. I’m a believer of the Lord Jesus Christ and I definitely had to cry out to the Lord doing those very challenging times with my son. I have my 2 older boys and I didn’t want to impact their lives by being sad all the time. Four years later and God is still given me the grace I need. I have had rhe same book for a few years but have never read ir. I bought it at a Ladies Retreat I had gone to. I am getting ready to read it. God knew Ciara had more work to do yet in a different way rhan before. Although, I went through a torally different experience than Ciara I spent years battling healrh problems and even spent time on a vent. Since fhat time over 15 years ago, God has allowed me ro use this ro help others. i have been able to help others navigate rhe state help as well because of th thiings that I have needed help with. Thank you Ciara and David for allowing thie story to be shared. Ciara, you are a true blessing to so many. You both as are your boys always in my prayers!

I love how she talks about taking your thoughts captive in obedience to Christ - how important that is for all of us as Christians. We can feel like giving up or get suicidal over literally anything if we allow it to consume us.
