Hi Amy, I have been watching your video's and also a mother with a son that has type 1 diabetes, Lucas was diagnosed last August. While watching I can't believe how much we have in common. My son Lucas is the same age as Henry 8 and in the 3rd grade. Both me and Lucas sit together and enjoy watching diabetes Type 1 Tuesday videos. He really enjoys watching Henry's videos. I like him to know that he is not alone. We have just ordered the diabetes bag for him, as we are trying to get him to start being independent as well. He does have the nurses that come to the school. Lucas has just gone through the testing for the gifted program too. I just wanted to thank you for all the informative information. Great work. 👍👍

Timothy is having the same sleep issues. He wakes up so early and then just can't get back to sleep. It's so hard when their sleep schedules get off whack. Such a busy, busy day. Love you guys!

Our Tuesdays are extremely busy too! Ella and Hannah now both in school it has been quite a challenge this year! My day starts at 4 am as I have to be at work at 5:30 am and usually Hannah gets up with me then she's so exhausted by the time 1:30 rolls around her teacher says she's falling asleep on the rug at school lol. I pick them up after work as I get off at 2 and then we head home to quickly get homework done, get the house straightened up, and get dressed for dance put the tights leotards on and get the hair up run out the door drive 25 mins it takes to get there bc traffic is crazy. I have to keep Hannah entertained for 45 mins as their classes aren't at the same time only same day. We get home to make a quick dinner it's baths and bed by 8. Tuesdays are so crazy :/ I'm also training for a marathon in January at Disney. I'm a tired and exhausted momma right now but I know it will pay off in the end :)

I really loved working nights doing 12 hour shifts bc I got more time at home but I always felt so tired and like I was ran over by something. With this shift I can get my girls from school and do the homework with them. Ella is making straight As and Hannah is doing great too minus some behavior problems. I feel like if I went back to nights it would affect my girls and their grades too. Someday I'd like to go back but for now I enjoy being with my girls in the afternoons :)

Is it plantar fasciitis you have in your foot? I had that years ago. Be wary of the steroid injections. Yes, it makes your foot feel better temporarily but it’s only masking the pain, not healing it. The problem is you’ll feel better so go walking and injure it all over again and then need more and more steroids. It’s a vicious cycle. The only way to fix foot problems completely is rest and non weight bearing as much as possible.
