Always on Top with Ergio: the Scara Mountain Shelter

We proudly present the assembly of Scara Shelter, located on the Făgăraş ridge at an altitude of over 2000 meters.
Ergio participated in this project in collaboration with the Asociația Montană Carpați and numerous volunteers who have dedicated their time and effort to improving Romania's mountain infrastructure. The project took two years to complete and involved architects, engineers, and mountaineers. Moreover, the Cadwork Romania design software helped us to find complete solutions from the design to the production phase.
With a total area of 36 square meters, the newly constructed shelter can accommodate up to 15-18 people. We hope it will set a new standard for mountain shelters in the critical areas of the Romanian mountains. The project was designed and manufactured to withstand the area's harsh weather conditions, with careful attention given to materials, ventilation, and interior finishes.
Ergio's commitment to the environment is reflected in our use of processed wood, which is returned to nature in the form of art, contributing to the safety of those who explore our beautiful country.
