Good vid, mate. Not a fan of Joe Rogan, but i get the sentiment. I was made redundant from my desk job 7 years ago and it's the best thing that's ever happened to me getting into full time reselling. My mental health is so much better now i'm working for myself.

Just moved house and have started selling all of the things I had left in my parents’ house because of your videos. Made £420 so far. My thought process was if they’ve been in my parents’ loft for fifteen years then I clearly don’t need them. Cheers mate.

I enjoy watching your videos, I’ve recently started reselling after solely focusing on guitars a few years ago but the market dropped right off. I’ve tried quite a range of things at the moment and it’s good to log it to see what’s a flop and what’s a success. I started this year with a goal to achieve (£1295 for a roof tent) starting with only £20 and it’s going well!

Really enjoy watching your channel. I'm in a similar situation now to what you were in before you started, in that I don't enjoy my job. I'm in the process of doing out my old family home and plan to start listing soon. Got loads to get through, but hoping it will start to bring in a small part time salary and see where it goes from there. Keep up the good work

Thank you for the video. Unfortunately the internet has created a ‘get rich quick’ culture, of which people believe is achievable. It can be done; however success takes consistency and time. God bless, glad you are doing what you enjoy! Have a lovely evening. Bob.

Great video as always! Cheers! I recently got a very nice pair of addidas gazelle in like a blue leather finish and looks like the label date is 2014, so quite old, but great condition. And only £2 in a charity shop 😮

When I worked in sales years ago I’d have days where I’d make no money, that would have an adverse effect and I would question my own ability to do the job. Do you ever suffer with the same feeling if you have a few bad weeks or months?

Enjoying the videos, I’ve been reselling now for around 3 months and have recently started selling trainers. Might have found my niche thanks to your videos. 12 Vinted purchases so far, 3 sold and have already broke even. Making the occasional silly purchase (fake Nikes or clearly not “new” trainers) - how often do you return/raise claims on Vinted? I’ve had 2 in a month already.

Putting a lot of pressure on myself as Ive been doing this for 7 months, made about 7k from watching you & other people. But I'm trying to sponge as much information as a I can from you and others. Didn't realise It took you 5 years to become full time.

While I was working j said sod this as well and went the same route as my sister and started reselling, then also love to watch these videos, within my first 2 months I nearly hit 100 sold, but unfortunately stopped as we had to move out the property, now everything is sitting in a family storage 😔

I thought James you had done your eBay items with the postage included in the price as I spend approx 200 pounds a month on post and do mine Inc postage to entice the people to buy....which would you say is better...

Do you use a basic account on eBay or do you use a business account I do a bit of reselling as a hobby on the side of my full time job don’t think I could go into full time reselling it’s ok if you can get stock regularly I just use eBay and vinted but eBay for me is dead as I only made 1 sale since before Christmas nothing else has sold on eBay and on vinted I have sold 18 items since I started before Christmas keep up the good work mate

Are people looking at your stuff? If you aren’t getting many views and watchers, you need to look at your titles and images. If you are getting the views and watchers, you are too expensive or too much postage cost
@XploringwithAde
@XploringwithAde 6 күн бұрын
@ yeah people are looking at my stuff couple of watchers before I list my stuff I research to see if there are other stuff same as mine and see what prices they are going for so I set my price the same but with offers as I do on all my listings and I also choose the simple delivery as it’s normally cheaper I don’t have international postage on as I only sell in uk I’ll look at the titles maybe change a few around cheers for advice 👍

I wonder a little about the figures- once you pay taxes, travel (e.g. going to cat boot sales), shipping, shipping accessories, platform fees etc., how can one do it full time, without selling hundreds or selling high priced items originally bought super cheap. I honestly wonder how that works on a small scale? I do a tiny bit of reselling but without running it on a large scale the figures wouldn't add up for me
@JammyDodgerFlips
@JammyDodgerFlips 7 күн бұрын
Totally understandable comment, but you just have to be good at money management. It can and does pay the bills for me. Also quite hard to see the numbers when you’re not on a larger scale. We also all have different targets we have to hit each month to cover bills, we don’t need tons to do so in our household.

Hi! Thanks for subbing, yeah I tried it a few years ago, thought it was all a bit messy, not as smooth as eBay/Vinted. Made a few sales, but more hassle than it’s worth, so stuck with eBay.
