I love these two. They’re always so captivating & humble. They’re talent is incredible & the feel of the new music is so vibey and free. I’m so excited for this album!!

As much as their music has grown and evolved, there is still an essence that has stayed the same. Listening to Rush or Chemicals React vs their new stuff, it all still feels like them at the core. It's cool to see them and their personalities stay true all this time.

I remember when Phil of the Future came out haha that was when Disney Chanel was at its prime for me haha! That when it really started to take off and I grew up watching those old shows! I am currently 30 as of last month. I remembe when the Disney Channel Original movies were a big deal, they were such a bid deal growing up haha. Also my bf just got over having Bronchitis also.

Did they switch their name back to Aly & Aj? Because last I knew, they changed it to 78Violet. Unless that is being used because most people know them by their old name. I'll find out tomorrow during the premiere I hope.

I believe for a few years they weren't allowed to use the "Aly & AJ" name on music because their contract with their old Disney Owned label had not expired yet. Using 78 Violet allowed them to still make music and they told everyone they wanted a proper "band name" Around 2016 they got the rights to "Aly&AJ" back. They still perform some 78 Violet songs on tour which is awesome!

I think a big shift in the perception of multi-hyphenates like them over time has been the growing adoption of data modeling for casting and film marketing. Today, compared to 20 years ago when they were on disney, virtually every studio/streamer uses models as an aspect of decision making in casting and their existing fan base would have really helped them. I love this 2nd act of their careers tho tbh.
