He was someone who hid in the shadows to allow others to shine. He chooses to play the supporting role. Even though he’s laid-back and unmotivated, he was someone that can be rely on. And I just like to think that if Doga Kobo animated the scene it would add a lot more depth to Masachika’s character. So yeah it was still a good episode but I just wish the dance scene was animated. (sry for somewhat long explanation)

Yeah the sad part with this show, mind you I haven’t finished it, is he’s really not into her the same way she is with him. But Alya is definitely portrayed as more possessive and jealous and flirty with Masachika even early on. There’s still 9 episodes so who knows.

Russian is my native language and I can say she has REALLY strong accent. Those people who have problem with her accent are like french with “you’re butchering our beautiful language!”. They aren’t used to hearing japanese speaking it and for many of us it sounds weird. Tolerance of accents is really not the same as with english. There are many varieties in english accents that everyone is used to. But not many people learn russian and so there is no such amount of accents we are used to
