Such a pretty palette for the season. I don't much like my Polychromos pencils either, though some of the colors are just beautiful, especially in the naturals range.

I think that's the first time I've seen you expel a supply from your favorites😅 I've steered clear of the Polychromos myself. Because they're oil based, they look best the more you layer them, and as beautiful as they are when done that way, I don't have the pencil patience for that.

This is crazy but I watched this video first and then the next video on another channel just talked about when your color pencil lead breaks, put in microwave for 10 seconds, never longer or pencil paint will bubble and let it cool off. Then sharpen. It's worth a try right?

You're using the sharpener incorrectly. Just insert. Don't turn it. I've never had a Polychromos pencil break in over six years.

@@AlyonasWatercolourCreations Perhaps the pencil was defective. However, because Polychromos has a harder formula, just try to sharpen by depressing it into the sharpener without twisting. Worth a try!
