Alys Beach Florida Guide | Luxury Town on Florida's Scenic 30A

I am researching Destin and 30A. Binge watching all your videos! I would love to figure out where to stay. I'm hoping you have a video on that!

Thank you so much for watching!! I really should have made a video on it, I honestly didn't think about it. Finding a place to stay was honestly very intimidating for me - 30A was actually on my list for a very long time before we actually went and I think a lot of that is because I was so intimidated every time I started looking for accommodation. There are so many options! I would say Destin vs 30A is very different. Destin was amazing, we loved it but we loved 30A more. I think my preference would be 30A with a day trip to Destin if there is time (there is also enough to do in Destin for it to be its own vacation). When we stayed in 30A, we stayed in Santa Rosa, which was fine but a little out of the way. It worked out fine but it wasn't busy when we were there and I think it might have been a bit more of a pain during the busier months. Plus, I would have really liked being able to bike to get around instead of driving in the car. Next time, I'd choose to stay in either Rosemary Beach or Seaside. Those were just areas we loved the most, had restaurants, and were very bikeable. We loved Alys Beach, too, but they have their own rental company and aren't on Airbnb/VRBO and there isn't quite as much to do there as Rosemary/Seaside. I hope this is helpful!
