I was an Alyssa. I asked for help 2 times once from Mom, once from school. Both times I got beat 10-times worse. We ALL ABSOLUTELY MUST speak up even if action is not possible!! Amen to those that have stepped up to help in these cases. And your reactions and opinions are spot on!

My great nephew (18 months old) lived in another state with his mother. His dad lived in a different state. His moms boyfriend b we at him unconscious because he wet his diaper and his mother let him lay that way for 4 hours on the look. When he started turning blue she called 911- he was careflighted to the hospital. Mom ended up in prison for 6 yrs. He and his older brother went to live with my brother( who was his dad’s dad). He is grown with 3 little boys and he and his wife are Police Officers. He is the kindest, most loving and handsome man you could ever meet. I love ❤️ you Officer T. Stay safe and continue doing a great job with all you and your sweet family do. God bless you all. Lots of Love ❤️

I believe there is a hard line drawn between disciplining & beating a child. Black and blue marks left on a child is the hard line. Some kids don't respond to a spanking some do, some are so simple just sitting them down & talking with them if they knew what they did was bad they will just start bawling, some kids timeout works. The trick is finding out what works for that individual child to overall guide them with a moral compass but not break them. That is the responsibility as a Caregiver, Parent, Guardian.

Thank you for all you do. These songs are close and dear to my heart. Im starting my channel up and its about crimes against children. These children need a voice our voice. A voice that I didnt have growing up going through the sexual abuse and physical and mental abuse that I endured. But I thank God every day for being here. And I WILL BE THAT VOICE FOR OUR CHILDREN. #PROTECTOURCHILDRENATALLCOST

This song has made me cry every single time I listen to it, since it came out. But, I keep listening to it, to share it. Whenever I think I may get through it - he says "because there's nothing anyone would do". I don't know if I'm crying because of how sad it makes me or because of how angry it makes me... but every single time. I cry.

Breaks my heart...my son's dad was abusive..I finally got the strength, and courage to leave...then met a man..was great..for years.he raised my son like..his own..i had never let anyone close...to myself or son..though it was a blessing. .only for him to up and leave 10 years later..he abandoned him..I hate myself for letting someone in..and getting close to my son..because now still..he is hurting...no communication from..the man that raised him for all those years...I let him down..I let someone abuse his heart,,his feelings, now he is closed off..and won't let anyone in..

I was a substitute teacher and I had a class where I was with the class for 2 months. I had a boy who was, not gonna lie, a pain. But I liked the kid. He was a smart ass but I liked him. Then one day he showed up with bruises. I reported them as I was my duty I wanted to make sure this kid was safe. And these were not normal kid bumps. These were the kind we were taught to look out for and I only noticed because when I went for a normal high five which was our morning ritual he flinch and something didn’t feel right. At the end of the day I had to turn the kid back to his dad. I was so mad I was ready to meet his dad in the parking lot and tell him “if he shows up with a new bump or bruise me and you are gonna settle this in the parking lot.” I’ve never been so mad in my life. But I’ll tell you this. People care guys. Don’t hide it someone will help! I wish I did more.

Absolute Power corrupts...and some "adults" who abuse were themselves abused...not that makes it ok or saying that all abused children grow up to abuse they dont but some do....there is evil in this world...anybody who gains a since of power or satisfaction out of hurting anybody or anything that is by definition and physicality weaker and defenless against.. is the worst kind of human...if they are even human

A lot of kids will unfortunately lie about it because 1 their parents are amazing actors so when someone investigates 2 they find it's unfounded so 3 everything gets much worse after the investigators leave OR Their parents tell them horror stories about what will happen if they get taken away OR Both Also most kids love their parents, blame themselves, and think if they only behave better the abuse will stop

We shouldn't have ever had to have a child abuse awareness anything. It never should have been a thought. There never should have been a reason to have to have such a month. !! That's where we have gone wrong. Our children shouldn't have to worry, shouldn't have to lie, shouldn't have to hide bruises, should never have to feel that kind of pain!! It's our job all of our jobs to raise our children with love, protected, raised up. If you don't feel THE SAME DON'T HAVE CHILDREN, DON'T GET WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS CHILDREN. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I was abused. I was hurt. I was treated like I didn't matter. I wasn't worth it. It stays with you. It makes you afraid to have kids of your own, afraid you'll be that same parent. You'll hurt your children because it's all you knew. I was lucky I had someone who believed in the good in me, and believed I wouldn't be capable of hurting my children the way I was hurt. And I thank God everyday he was right. We need to be better. We need to be better people to our children, to each other.

My advice to people: know your limits. I for one would make a TERRIBLE mother because 1 I'm selfish. I could not handle being at someone's beck and call 24/7/365. I need my me time 2 I'm one of the most impatient people on the planet. People tell me, "Once you become a parent you learn patience." I say "If I haven't learned it by now, i certainly wouldn't if I had a child." 3 I wouldn't be able to handle all the incessant questions. It would drive me nuts So i am quite content being the fun aunt. I can deal with kids for a few days maybe even a week alone but I have my limits

I have a grand daughter 25 she had a little girl with a good man, who is now 8 her mother moved in with me she had left a good man, for a scum bag manipulating liar. One day I heard her mom telling her, her daddy was a f____ f_____ she was so upset at her mom at that time she was 4 I heard her mom telling her to shut up.then I heard the slap I yell at my granddaughter, she went to work the baby was crying I felted that pain things had happened to me as a child, I asked her what was wrong she held me tight, and she told me it's my mommy's boyfriend not my daddy's brother,. It broke my heart. If a child comes to you they don't know how to lie, we teach them, if you are a drunk or addicted to substance, maybe your a thief, or a compulsive liar. Your children are sponges listen to them, if you don't you and them will pay the consequences for years to come. child abuse, neglect and molesting a child is not ok!!!! God have mercy on the souls of people like that, cause I won't.
