Maggie McFly Black mamba IS questionable, however, anacondas are bought and traded for pets, and just like Florida, all manner of creatures have been RELEASED into the lakes, rivers, streams, ditches, sewer systems ALL OVER AMERICA. Your state is NOT immune! I no longer approach a clump of weeds to be removed without using a stick(long one) or something long to poke into the clump so as to not surprise nor scare any ‘critters’ hiding so they lash out in defense. I’ve ‘disturbed’ two nests of snakes and saved myself-copperheads, and different state, rattlesnake. Be careful lifting up any old items laying around either! Hope this helps ❤️
