I'm pretty sure ovechkin has more individual accomplishments. As a team Crosby owns him. Capitals finally beat penguins in playoffs. Ovechkin was jealous. Not anymore. Finally got his cup. Never gonna catch Crosby though for being the better captain I hate to say. I like Ovechkin better. His power play is scary. Puck gets near him it's rocketed to the net and him being a righty makes it even harder for goalies. Who is better talent individually in my opinion will always be up in air. Other than penguins simply having better team/ goalie. Marc andre fleury is hall of famer first ballot as well

Crosby used to be a whiner and kinda soft early in his career. As a pens fan, i am well aware. Those early teams well made up for it with the toughness that surrounded sid. Engelland, orpik, Rupp, goddard, adams, ruutu, cooke, asham... man i loved those years. But now sid has grown up and is a great leader and respected man. Yeah, for sure, Sid the Kid is kind of an asshole on the ice. He has to be to a degree, it's Hockey afterall and not a scone recipe exchange. It's a rough, tough, dirty, game. It's hard to pick anyone of true virtue on the ice. He's also worth a truck load to the NHL and Canadian hockey. Hence, he will get under other players skins and he will be protected.
