(Yes, it's scary when the tee chute has people there when they are never there when you play with friends!) The Pros looked around and said, "This is great! Did you hear that the Golf Channel extended coverage by an hour and a half, that put the Pros on more TV than normal. That can ONLY HELP more viewers to check out the women's tour. That's a win-win, and who besides the WNBA loves one of those?

In my opinion, it is not the positivity of LGPA but the negativity of WNBA that caused the problems. The stink of jealousy is apparent when women put her down at every point, on the courts and in the locker rooms. I am a scientist with no star power. My goal is to push my field and not my own work. If I do the former, that is more than enough. I am happy when patients become independent, have better quality of life, and become more hopeful. I don’t watch either basketball or golf, except at Rutgers, my university. But, I got a feeling for what star power achieves. I attend many events with Christopher Reeve. Yes, he is a star but this is not just about being spinal injured. He is a star because he sees himself as more than just a person with spinal cord injury, just like Caitland Clark sees herself as more than a basketball player. All my friends who are spinal-injured see themselves as more than just spinal-injured. They know that people are looking at them and expecting more. They don’t feel sorry for themselves but see themselves as leaders and winners. Wise.
