This was SUPER helpful! I've gone natural after 45+ years of chemically altered hair. Literally have watched hundreds of videos searching for what to do after #washday Yours is the first detailed demo and I love it! My hair isn't long enough for a pineapple yet, it's about 6", but should be there by winter. Questions: 1.what conditioner do you mix in your spray bottle? AND 2. Do you have any routine suggestions (nighttime and morning refresh) for shorter hair that wakes up with helmet head? Thanks again and keep those videos coming!

Definitely trying this method! Update: so I tried your method! Left some. Deep conditioner in and mixed gels on top. Went to sleep with my silk pillow case and my curls were still in tack! My curls NEVER last day 1 and I usually have to refresh BUT day 2 is looking AMAZING! thank you for sharing! Definitely found my new routine ❤️

Thank you for the multi-day results. Can you do this using all Curlsmith products? I would love to know how to refresh with their products. Like you, I focus on wash day. My hair is low porosity and thick; it does not receive product well without being drenched. My desired wash day would be Saturday night, but it ends occurring on Sunday; just too exhausted from working and completing other tasks on Saturday, and a 10:00pm wash day is simply not in the cards.

yep around 4+ days is when it starts feeling pretty dry and this is normal! hence why I tend to wash every 4-5 days to keep up the moisture

@Taty Lynn It is very good but to save on cost, I use Keracare Moisturizing Curling Jelly. It is A LOT cheaper and is pretty much the same consistency. It comes in a jar. You can find it at Sally’s. It’s less than $10. 😊

Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curl Stimulator is a little cheaper and the consistency is similar to the CR Curl Maker! It’s aloe based and works magic on my hair and worth trying... lots of reviews on KZbin for it :)
