I apply my products on very wet hair but not dripping bc to me it just makes the product slide off & that's wasteful... & I also prefer warm water bc cold water just seals off the cuticle so moisture isn't really getting in.. But I definitely agree that my best wash n gos start with very wet hair.. 🖤

Really nice results! Watching your video reminded me about the sound that we should hear when our hair is hydrated. This was truly like a tutorial, which will help a lot of curlies with their wash n go. I need to give myself more time to complete the whole process. I need more than one day and usually don’t feel like dealing with it again the next day to put my products in. It’s challenging when dealing with chronic pain but, if I want to stop excessive shedding I have to push through. Dehydration on a regular basis overtime results in excessive shedding, which I can see the difference in (SMH). If I wasn’t blessed with a lot of hair from the beginning, it would be worse. I need my brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for me, please! Peace and Blessings!🙏🏾❤️

Great video thanks for this. I tried this technique and used my Curlsmith products and my curls were amazing. My curls started from the roots ... YASSS...and I loved it. The only down side was I got more frizz than usual, not sure if that was because I styled using my fingers vs the brush I normally use. I will continue to work on this technique.

How do you deal with parting your hair? I know most curlies say don't part while it's wet, and I saw you didn't really make a part. I've tried to not part but then it dries funny and fuzzy. I do a side part before applying product but then I don't really like how my hair falls. 😭 Any tips?....also, my hair stylist uses those flat metal clips and stands them up (sideways) in the hair while wet and your roots will dry off your head!

I love your videos and your energy! Your hair turned out really pretty 😍 Soaking wet hair definitely yields the most definition. So I just watched this again, and I’ve always done the heavy gels, trying to get it flat and weighed down and then stretching it but I have fineish curls and medium density and my hair hates all that stretching. I was already trying mouses and air drying so I just tried all of this and it’s drying now!! Can’t wait to see if this is better and quicker for my hair and lifestyle
@livstewart57163 жыл бұрын
how was the mousse ? xo
@Laysplace233 жыл бұрын
@@livstewart5716 I used the doux mousse. Protein sensitive. I liked my results. I’m on second day and still have hold and I stretched a bit. I think I’ll try on clarified hair next time but the techniques and this gel aren’t bad at all! Lots of volume 😂

I love your channel but the soaking wet styling does not work for me at all. I'm super low porosity. I have to let my hair dry a bit after heating hair with the leave in conditioner so the product can fit into the hair shaft. If filled with water the product does not get in and my hair be hella frizzy 😩 so thankful to have learned about foam and gel, GAME CHANGER!!!!!!
@katrinamichee71193 жыл бұрын
Mine is the same way. My wash n his are done on wet to damp hair. It works well for me.
@itsbrittbritt41833 жыл бұрын
I’m low porosity I only did my wash and gos in the shower. I just do a warm water shot on my hair like she kept doing. It keeps the cuticle open. I’ve never had any issues. I then deep condition it all in just to add more definition And I let it air dry. Don’t have to worry about any of it anymore though. It’s been a week since I started my two strand twist starter locs.😊
