Her regular bank is Wells Fargo but she transfer her money to her capital 360 account. In the account she has separate accounts. She has a video on it .

How do you stay consistent? I’ve been doing the cash envelopes and videos for a few months now but sometimes I fall behind because I don’t go to the bank right away and I end up borrowing from some of my envelopes.

Honestly I'm this way after years and years of using the cash envelope system! But I try and be flexible with myself. I try and go to the bank every other Friday, but this time I went on Saturday because I just didn't have enough time on Friday. But I don't let myself borrow from other envelopes! It's just all about discipline 😊

I considered switching to Capital One 360 for the same purposes as you; however, I realized I could just open additional checking and savings accounts at the same bank I already use. It’s free, and the transfers are instant between accounts. It’s been working great!

I'm following Dave Ramsey's baby steps. I'm currently on baby step 2, which is focusing on paying off my debt as quickly as possible. Baby step #1 was saving up $1000 for a starter emergency fund. After I'm debt free I will move to baby step #3 which is save 3-6 months of expenses for a full emergency fund. Then after that I can start investing in retirement, saving up for a house, things of that nature. But it makes no sense to do those things while you're still in debt, per Dave Ramsey's beliefs.

Alaysha Helms a small portion of it goes to “business savings” for equipment and such, and then every penny of rhe test goes to paying off my debt 😊
