I used to cheer for my elementary school from k to 5 I was captain of the floor team( k- 3)and then for the stunt team for the 4th and 5th graders i joined and got captain too I was so happy then middle school the team fought every practice and we never were able to learn a routine for a show because they always found some way to fight so I left lost all my flips and my splits so now I have to learn them all over again but I hope I make it in time cuz I really wanna cheer for this year

I have a question. Is It normal to feel like left out at first when you make your high school team. I personally just made my highschool team but I didn’t make junior high cheer but I kept pushing in all star and was able to Amal highschool. All the other girls on the team are from their junior high cheer team so they all kinda already know each other. And I just feel kinda left out and feel less included. Is this normal? And if not how can I fit in more and bond with them

They're actually really fun, at least in my opinion. You make some good memories and some new friends and its just a good experience. But just a tip. For tryouts, if you have judges, find a spot on the wall to look at. Don't make eye contact with the judges. Anyway, good luck!!

I was the one that started cheer at my school there was only like me and 2 other people who wanted a cheer team and they said we would need 8 girls and between the 3 of us we got thoughs people and we got our team and now me and a bunch of people from that team has fallen in love and we are now high school cheerleaders to this day☺️

I’m a bit sad that I never got to do HS cheer because it looks really fun, but I’ve had other really fun extracurriculars!! I actually got to be on my high school’s tennis team, so that was a cool experience.

1 cheer Is time consuming 2 their are those always those negative people on the team Why most people join the cheer team that don't care. It all depends but they most likely just want recognition and clout. Be passionate about cheer 3 there will be drama most likely -comminication is key -not saying something, not communicating can cause problems 4 Do you research -Different team come with different expenses
