True... Tho this is not the best performance of ygx, i hope the judges will see the other factors... No hate to the judges, but i hope the judges are like in the "dancing high" wherein the judges are jblack, the Korea's legend in bboying and other korean dancers that can see littlle details in performance, being objective and not because "its my style" or its not my taste"

The routine itself wasn't too exciting for me but what makes this routine great is: •Precision and synchronization No one on the show is as clean and precise. •Understanding the mission. Most of the other crews either simply blended the guys or had a few take center for a bit. YGX, however, brought the two groups together to form a harmonious performance, while still highlighting them separately. It definitely helps that they're from the same studio. You can feel the chemistry. •They're always moving. Even if the moves are simpler or not as flashy, every dancer is always doing something to accentuate the performance. YGX has the synchronization and execution down to a T. They're just lacking the big creative spectacle. If they added the creativity from HOOK or PROWDMON they'd be unstoppable.

I was rooting for YGX but tbh I was also disappointed with this. I was expecting something more creative. They already know the criticisms with their performance yet they still didn't step out of their comfort zones and took risk by performing in a different light. I feel like Lachica and Hook's performance were amazing because they were able to tell a great story and showcase their style, skills, and creativity well thru their performance.

I get that but also being creative doesn't mean good performance either. La chica has a good concept and it was a well though out choreo but at times they were a bit messy and out of synch. Hook's choreo was a bit simple too they did much better in the mega crew mission.

YGX is easily top 3 with the details and execution of their performances. But the "judges" on that show really have a hard time analysing the dance as a whole and just goes for what they're given. MNET fucked over the judges' reputation by not providing them and the public specific criteria sets to consider in order to fairly judge each performance xD.

That’s right. They judge based on their preference, like what the young judge said “that’s not my style”. Well hello, you as a judge need to look in all aspects. There is so many genres and also beats! And the young judge (sorry I didn’t even know his name) same age as YGX dancer. But here clearly the YGX supposed to be the judge and judge him instead!

@@YoshiW0nderland His name is Taeyong and he is the leader, main dancer, main rapper, and visual of the group NCT. Those positions are mainly applied when he is in NCT127 (a unit within NCT). I agree with you. I don't think that Taeyong is suitable as a judge. His dancing is amazing but these are people whose livelihoods depend on dancing and probably even danced longer than him. Heck - Monika, Lip J, Honey J, Rihey, Hyojin Choi, and probably many others can be his teacher/the judge instead. They have got a LOT of experience. Taeyong mainly excels at performances and choreographies exactly because he is a kpop idol. BoA and Sang Hoon make sense as judges because they have been in the industry for a LONG time. And many of the dancers in SWF said themselves that they look up to BoA and it is because of HER that they started dancing. No shade to Taeyong, in fact, I really respect him and admire him as a dancer but he does not deserve to be part of the judging panel for street woman fighter. Although his skills are rather impressive, he does not have what it takes to be a judge. Even some contestants said that Lip J should be a judge rather than a participant of the competition given the number of battles and her experience. She is well known in the street dancing scene as an amazing waacker (a style of dance) and for participating in more than 100 battles. Sorry for commenting so long but yeah... Taeyong is good but he isn't qualified to be a judge due to what I have mentioned above.

Also... since BoA is also someone who mainly does choreographies (I am not too familiar with her) I think that there should've been someone who is more well-rounded and experienced in many different aspects of dance. As we have seen on SWF, there were battles, mega crew missions, group missions, dance copy missions, etc. I feel that it takes experience to direct/choreograph/be a part of all these to have a good take and know how exactly to judge all these and even have criteria in mind before the grading of any performance. But because the judging panel is 2/3 choreography-based judges, I feel that they lack the confidence to evaluate most of what goes on in SWF and that is truly a shame.

This was one of my favorite choreography.. some anti fans here saying the same thing over and over because they dont know how else to talk bad about ygx. This was refreshing and new. You must be able to appreciate dance in order to judge it. Pay attention to the video and read.

Heres my opinion about each team's best part : - YGX : Details ad Percise - Holybang : Technicality (The real dancing) - Hook : Creativity - Proudmon : Versatility - Coca N Butter : Freestyle dance battle - Want : the hv a variety of excellent members (emma is one of the best contestnt) but as a group still lacking. - Waybe - nothing special but thumbs up for hey Mama dance created by Noze We can choose the group what we want from this perspective. if you like percise and neatly dance, you'll go to YGX, if you like dancing with creativity you'll go to Hook, and others.

I'm not a pro dancer, but I've been to dance contests a lot before. And most of the time the team with the best execution/technicality and such are the winners regardless of the genre and message whatnot. I've been binge watching swf here on youtube and i'm disappointed (doesn't matter who they are) how these judges uses their own preferences as basis for their score. Although preferences can affect or influence one's perspective, they shouldn't have reasoned out something like "this is my style" when they are supposed to critique in a dancer perspective. Anyway, I decided to just enjoy the performances and not think that this is a competition.

If only the judges can appreciate their work as much as you do. YGX performance seems to be lacking and boring since other teams pulled off extravagant concepts but YGX always sticks to the basics of "street dance" and polish it. Their dance were always the neatest, others sometimes pull off complex moves but looks kinda messy.

YGX will always be neat and clean but what made me dissapointed with this was the concept. The challenge was basically "bring some men into your performance" which meant there was no real limitation. They could have done ANYTHING, which is why the other crews had such abstract concepts. I just really wish they had given us something new and imaginative since there was no a real restriction. It brings me back to when the series first started when the other crews said YGX is all about business. See them, it is obvious that there is more to them but I don't think they have shown it. However, I do understand why Leejung did this. She recognized early on that we, the public, would not understand more abstract dance. So, she definitely understood how important appeal was.

YGX's performances have always been extremely neat, eye-catching and kill the beat. It's their strength ngl but at this stage of the competition, it's just a bit clique and boring tbh, no wow factor therefore it's a bit forgettable for me.

Yeah, I think their strongest point is choreography for the song and performances. I like every movements looks legit with the music and lyrics. It just compared to the others who keeping up with challenge their own team, I think YGX at the state of comfort with their own styles. It looks like have no plan to going out. We can see every competition and a show like this always be “better” if the contestants never stop challenge themselves and gives more variations to create another waoww factor, not only about clean and precise. ;dv Lil bit talk about one team that looks like get the most attention on this mission is CocaNButter. Their desperation to get the appreciation and higher points than before. Obviously their synchronization not that good but look at how big their ambitions to win the show with did something “unusal” also still with their style. Love and Peace.. Edit: One thing that I keep noticing from YGX is the fact that their choreography always in a good mood with the songs, quite detail with a lot of music elements. We can listen to the songs and having fun with their dances. Because for some mission I feels like some team was good but too much focus on their dances makes me forget the songs. Maybe because I’m not a dancer. Hehee ^^v

Execution was clean af, energy was consistent and theme was straightforward and fun. If this was ABDC or World of Dance competition they would win. Concepts are fun but overall man idk mnet is weird. Sad also that Prowdmon and YGX didn't make top 4. TV show competitions will always be just entertainment and not fair.
