Bro you made it in the actual Motos and that alone is a massive accomplishment anything more than that is a bonus. With that being said you did it with a stock bike not even a aftermarket handlebar pad lol but seriously you are doing awesome. I would love to see you get some real support and just get to concentrate on training and riding then see what result you put in. How did you feel on the 450 vs your 250 in a real race scenario ?

I love the fact that super chick pushed you to do this race and kept you focused on the task when you doubted yourself after first qualifier! Keep in mind, elevation and you aren't in full Pro moto shape, and Elevation! This is why pros show up at last min and fly out asap before it really starts to affect the body! Amazing ride and you both should be very happy you did Great!

Granted I haven't ridden any other tracks outside of Colorado unfortunately but I've ridden them all in Colorado and would have to say Thunder Valley is my favorite. The crazy ruts is a reason why however riding after the PRO pro's raced on it the ruts are INSANE. -they always leave the track as is the next day to let us locals ride the same track the guys like Matty B raced on. 🤙

When your older you will wished you gave it one really committed year. I did at 38 years old (and qualified) and so glad I put that effort in... now 61 looking back so proud of that effort. I had to get rid of the distractions for one year....so worth it bro....just some thigs to think about....time flies before you know it the window closes

Out of all the riders you were our favorite, your name kept getting mentioned and then when you qualified we were all happy. Some guy named Jett had the best time. But we didn't care about him, Matty B was our guy and the focus was on you getting in. You made our day and yours.

I can't imagine how much money it would cost to keep a 450 fresh for a whole outdoor season. I'm sure you have some help with parts and someone that wrenches on your bike unless you are your own mechanic as well but I heard you say in past videos your not much of a mechanic so I'm guessing someone else will be adjusting the valves and what not and I'm sure that happens pretty often when you ride it at that level. It's crazy to see how hard you guys push those new 450s shit man just makes what you did last year on the 250 that much more impressive dude. Keep hammering buddy. "No Choice"

Clutch for starts only Matt. Run practice sessions without the clutch lever (push start and hit 1st) do 15 min moto's like that and you'll drop at least 2.5-3 sec a lap!

I was forced to do this and although I was pissed about it, it did fix the issue and the timing was what they said it would be if I didn't use it. Very hard habit to overcome though from 2 to 4 stroke.
