I would love to see videos on the subject of getting back to dancing at a professional level after an extended break! That’s what you’re going through now, so it will be easy for you to talk about, and it’s also something I’m dealing with (getting back into dancing professionally in musical theatre after about a year off because of injuries and mental health). I would be so grateful for any tips or advice you have! Some more specific video ideas in this vein: - how to get started (Very first steps so you don’t push yourself too hard or get unmotivated) - effective ways to regain technique, strength, and flexibility - mindset and motivation tips - classes for advanced dancers who may be a bit tight or weak due to a long break or injury I’m so happy to have you back and am so glad you seem to be very happy with where your life is headed. I hope to see you dance in person some day! ❤️

I personally would be interested in the Balanchine Technique videos you once started, or explanatory videos in general that visualise certain steps (,and thus, compares them to other techniques). There are a lot of technique books, but for me, it is easier to watch it while having it written down to re-read. For variation coachings, I would love to see tips on how to master such a beautiful swan variation as Marinela Nunez just posted on her Instagram - in fact, how to let go in pirouettes and do back bends or something. For ballet classes (barre and centre) everything is appreciated, but I would be very interested in a beginner ballet class for children that I can use as inspiration for teaching or centre combinations for seniors taking ballet classes. I sometimes worry that I expect too much of both ages. Ballet Barre and Center for children, in general, would be cool. Even pre-ballet lessons or ideas for creative movement classes. :) Besides giving tips that help to execute steps you could go into more detail about the teaching aspects of steps and highlighting the teacher side a little bit more. E.g. what exercises teachers should use to prepare specific steps before they're learned. Anyways, everything you come up with is highly appreciated, and I can not wait to see if you are going to perform with a company soon and which it might be! :)

Love the technique tips videos, and would love to see a pointe class that’s a little bit more than the beginner class (which I follow along with 3-5x a week), but not quite as long as the intermediate one you did. I enjoy the makeup videos but not too often. Love you Katie! Take care.

You look incredibly bright and happy! There is a fire in your eyes and voice that I'm not sure I've seen before. You are a true hero(ine!) and role model for young women.

Hey Katie, nice video as always. I was thinking about some video ideas, so since you asked: 1) Can you maybe do a tutorial on certain steps. For example, when you do technique videos you often talk about tips and tricks and mistakes we often make while doing it, but not very often how to start doing it and eventually progress to the full move. For example, I would like to do a tour jete and even though your video on it was good, it was more for people who are already doing it (but with some mistakes) than for a complete beginners like me. So maybe there is an idea for a video (maybe even possible video series like - technique for total beginners, or something like that) where you go step by step how to start doing it. 2) Another video (or possible series) idea. Maybe we (students) can send you some dancing videos of ourselves (maybe doing a certain step or variation or whatever) and you comment on them while we're also able to see it, like constructive criticism we can all learn from (saying what was wrong and right, where that person should improve etc) . Like few short videos per episode, something like that. 3) Another video idea, maybe like once per month you can do some kind of video where you discuss certain things which are currently going on in the ballet world (for example, when you did your point of view on the Peter Martins scandal, but of course the topics don't have to be that "hot" as that one was). Let's say something similar like the "food for thought" thing. 4) Another video idea, maybe one video about "post ballet life". So many students and dancers are so much into ballet that they don't think ahead enough, so maybe you can give some advice and guidance when it comes to the "what to do when someone can't dance anymore or quits ballet". 5) Another series idea, something like "boys in ballet" where you can maybe incorporate male students (maybe even teachers), explaining steps and other things like stage makeup, clothes, stereotypes and so on. I feel like it would be highly appreciated among male viewers. 6) Another series idea, maybe you can do like short essay history videos where you talk about some certain things like "history of a ballet shoe" or maybe even series about ballet pieces where you pick one ballet (or a ballet character) and talk about why it's so important in general and so on. 7) Another one, maybe you can do series about ballet things called like "worth the hype" where you try and review some popular products, maybe just makeup, maybe some ballet stuff. 8) Another one, maybe you can start series on music in ballet. You have basic knowledge about music from what I can tell, but many students never really played any instrument, so maybe you can give some tips and tricks on how to hear music, rhythm and so on, to help the students with musicality. 9) Another one, you have around 200 videos for now, so maybe you can make one in a sense where you talk about your KZbin journey, from the first video up to now, maybe react to certain more important videos and such. 10) Maybe some video about foot care during the season and break. 11) Another video idea about various paddings, spacers and so on. Sorry Katie, I'm just full with ideas, so this might get annoying so I better stop, but I hope I maybe inspired you a little at least. Keep up the good work as always. Good luck.

I love #8!! I'm a teacher, and many of my students are so focused on the steps, they forget to listen to the music 🤦 or they just listen to the beat, but ignore nuances and crescendos and patterns and the style of the music. Musicality is so much of what makes a series of steps/poses an actual dance, an art, and Katie definitely has the musicality thing down 🙂

And believe me, I am a makeup girl especially when it relates to theater and it’s also fun to see into your home life-but you are in a new season-I think the season of sharing sooooooooooo much of you is a closed chapter. show us dance. I will be satisfied with just dance. You’ve graciously shared yourself. Do what you want!! We will watch. 👍🏻

One video I would love to see if possible is one about going back en pointe after an extended break (as in over five years), or even just getting back into ballet class after being out of it a long time. I would love advice on conditioning and building back up to that point. You look amazing and it's so obvious you're in a much better place! Best of luck!

Hi Katie I’m so glad you are dancing again. I would love to listen to more of your podcast again and see some more ballet classes, makeup videos and once upon a pointe. I’m really struggling to remember combinations so an updated version of that video would be great too. Thank you for all your videos, you’ve really helped me as a late starter to ballet . X

So happy that you seem happy! Any type of video that you feel like making is good with me. I’m always thrilled when there’s a ballet class video (intermediate:advanced), but they must be a lot of work for you? Lovely to have you back! x

I was just rewatching some of your past workout videos and stuff and am so glad to see you back! I think it is really great that you are thinking about going into a company again, but we probably wouldn't get as much behind the scenes as we do now,I am super happy to see your health and your dancing improve where you can join a company and can't wait to see what happens next!

I don't comment often but I'd love to see more once upon a pointe video's. More importantly though. it's so good to see that twinkle back in your eyes. When you started talking about the queen of hearts and "maleficent" you got this glow about you and your eyes started sparkling again. you have no Idea how happy that made me.

having a video a week, its so easy to try and do too many different things. i loved your make up tutorials, your videos where you went through your past performances with commentary (you have such a great sense of humour and always explain the little behind the scenes things which is super fun) and even though i am far fron being a dancer, i do also enjoy your lessons on how to improve certain techniques. your way of explaining things it so easy to follow, you dont beat aorund the bush and you tell it how it is. i just know your lesson videos have helped so many dancers improve their work. i'd like to take the time here to let you know how much ive enjoyed being a part of your youtube channel. You are such a strong and kind person sharing your knowledge, creating your awesome subscription box and ive even seen that you'd offered scholarships. awesome. youre an amazing woman.

Your story makes me tear up, seriously. To think you thought you’d never dance again, and that it took such a devastating experience for you to find it again is absolutely incredible. God works in mysterious ways. You are super woman!
