It’s interesting listening to great talks about building faith that the subject of tongues is rarely mentioned. The Apostle Paul mentions the gift and explains that when we speak in an unknown tongue we build ourselves up and he spoke in tongues more than us all. When we speak in an unknown tongue our spirit prays. Jude called praying in the spirit our most holy faith. Is this because we are building ourselves up because we are relying on the spirit not our own words. To the Roman Church Paul said when we don’t know what to pray the spirit makes intercession for us. Jesus to the woman at the well if you drink of this water you will never thirst again but the added that true worshipers would worship in spirit and truth. Is that so we are built up and do not become thirsty and dry as so many do trying to build themselves up instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to build us up by spending time in relationships with our Father using this amazing gift of tongues. If we truly want to enjoy the Kingdom of God then it makes sense to me to speak the language of the New Testament. It’s a better covenant with better promises. Isa 28:11-12 describes it as stammering lips and another tongue and explains it our rest and refreshing. Thank you Jesus for this amazing gift which was not part of the OT but is now available to us. ❤️🙏

The scriptures say Abraham was convinced God was able. There is a difference between able and willing. When God said Sarah was going to have a child that was a statement Abraham didn't have to wonder if God was able, when God said he was going to do something he did. That's not the same as knowing God is able. We all know God is able to do anything. He might very well have different plans

I struggle with this type of message when at the same time choices are made to take any and all human treatment. The weight of your survival is not on your back. Every time you think "if I don't act now I'm going to die" the enemy has won by convincing you that healing is your burden. Where in the Bible does it say you know if you're sick and it looks really really bad, make sure you run to the doctor otherwise "by his stripes you were healed" doesn't apply.

Not everyone is at the same place in their walk with God. Most of us do what seems right for us at the time 😊
