People just talk a lot. Like People just fucking talk a lot, to the extent that they say even the most offensive and unnecessary shit. I don't mind People thinking whatever about me, the problem starts when you start telling me or just talking about it. Like, you're the one that has a problem with how I look, why are you making it a me problem now? Just consume it alone and stop roping me in. I'm clearly very comfortable with the way I look, hence I look this way all the time. I'm so annoyed and hurt by your experiences sis, I'm so sorry❤

It's so sad that we've normalized gender affirming clothing that when someone chooses to go against that and express themselves differently it becomes a thing. Your sense of style is so refreshing plss

Women are so multifaceted and as you said, it is infuriating to have to constantly think about how to represent ourselves whilst so-called 'remaining within the realms of what is expected of us.' Thank you for this little rant. Growing up I was/am a hella sports girl and more often than not also considered 'one of the guys' because I was also in them 'tomboy' classifications. I am still not much of a girly girl and sometimes feel so out of place in those situations when I am surrounded by all these hella feminine females and I am the only one there feeling hella imposter syndrome. So thank you so much for this. It did resonate and it really is an important conversation to have.

@shefacesthesun3 жыл бұрын
listen, i get it and it isn’t easy. make sure to be patient with yourself and you will get to a point where you dress however the hell you want UNAPOLOGETICALLY. personally, you are already killing it, so DON’T STOP 🌻💛

this reminds me of how on social media.. whenever i would post myself looking “feminine” .. many people would be all 😍😍😍😍 over how i looked and saying this is the way .. but when i would dress more “masculine” it’s like meh.. you could do better 💀 and it took me a long while to unlearn seeking external validation because i’d like to believe i look attractive al around 😎

Are we expected to wear “skirts” and “dresses” all the time?? I’m a girly girl and I also don’t believe that clothes have gender. Society is honestly the problem. I think there’s a lot of things that are said to us that we just let pass not knowing that later they’re going to affect us in the future.
@shefacesthesun3 жыл бұрын
