Deena, while I have greatly enjoyed your wonderful decorating videos, I have actually been so blessed with your beautiful and uplifting words of encouragement. You are truly a reflection of Jesus and His love and His grace for us. You are a mighty woman of God. You’re a very powerful and godly woman. I love spending time with you, and I feel so blessed to have been touched by you through your videos. Your channel has been an amazing platform to share The Word of God to us, and we desperately need to hear this everyday. You are so much more than a talented decorator, you are the hands and feet of Jesus. In my humble opinion, you are touching lives in a way that so few of us can. I am a follower of Christ and have been all of my life, and I will be 70 years old this year. My health limits my physical ability to work for The Kingdom of God, but I am still a prayer warrior. You are in my prayers. I pray that The Lord will let you see how He sees you. He takes what you have seen as your weaknesses and uses them to help others. I know that you please Him with the fact that you have been willing to step out of your comfort zone and be obedient to Him by sharing with us. Could it be that your channel has allowed you to come into homes where someone has desperately needed to hear the words that you so lovingly share. Dearest Deena, as I listened to you today, I thought, I wonder where our Lord is leading her next? At almost 81 yrs I have realized that as we age our limits, responsibilities, parenting and life styles change. We can fight against these changes or can take a step back and ask for help with these changes. No, none of this is easy, but I have found new tools to help me as I age. How have I found these tools? God put them in my tool box just at the right time. For all of us that you have prayed for, we now pray for you. Perhaps your channel needs a new subject. Think outside of the box. Deena what I have loved about your channel was not buying new things at Hobby Lobby or Michaels but the personal touches you add to your home. Anybody can buy those things. What I have loved the most was the Thanksgiving prayer written on paper and used as a runner. I love the attention to detail when caring for your home. Not buying Hobby Lobby’s new holiday offering. Why not do a post from time to time displaying or growing in your faith. A book club would be a good idea. Don’t abandon YT but use it in a different way. Which ever you decide will be right. Prayer request: my granddaughter Grace is having a major heart surgery in Nashville on April 4th. She was born with half a heart and is such a delight to all of us. She will be 4 the week before the surgery. Please pray for her and those who will attend to her and that glory to our Heavenly Father will shine through this situation.

I really understand your feelings. I too have my home like I want it and have no plans to add much more decor. I’ve transitioned into trying to get rid of old pieces I no longer use. Not really downsizing yet but maybe preparing for that. However, I really enjoy making arrangements for my church for each season. And that gives me such joy. Deena, I found your channel in 2020 while we were all locked away in our houses, and was so drawn in by the atmosphere of peacefulness and sense of purpose you emanated. Your decorating, while beautiful, was secondary. Listening to you talk about the Lord as you cleaned your house or did your laundry; watching your creativity as you set out food and beverages preparing for your ladies group or for your family, was an affirmation that the Lord is glorified in our daily routines that serve others. Your vulnerability with your weaknesses and fears brought reassurance that God has use for me with all of my faults and failures. Your use and re-use of the decor you’ve collected over the years has shown that a home can be beautiful without the latest trends and big expense. You have, by sharing your life, shown a glimpse of the Proverbs 31 woman whether that was your intent or not. I’ve thought for a while now, that you were struggling for content and that the demand of the channel was getting to be too much, so I’m glad you’re focusing on you. You’re lovely and your value is far above rubies. It’s my prayer that you will get rested and refreshed and seek after the Lord more and more. Hello Deena, I don’t think you need to buy new stuff all the time to decorate your house, whatever the season you’re decorating for, what I do must of the time is upgrade the stuff that I already owned by changing the color or adding flowers or putting stuff in a total different place every time I decorate. Lady you will greatly be Miss. I am not young and didn't know a lot of things about decorating. You showed me a lot of ways to decorate my home and with that knowledge I used it to make my house into a home. I didn't have a lot of money so I would go to garage sale or used what I had . Deena Friend - I had one more thing I wanted to say about your videos. I have been watching your old ones today because they’re so enjoyable and relaxing to me. Honestly the ones I like the best are the ones where you’re just cleaning house and explaining why you’re doing what you’re doing. I love the ones that is your daily cleaning routine and your Friday cleaning routine etc.I especially love the day in the life type of videos where you’re just running your errands and doing what you would normally do in the day and especially cooking. The decorating ones are fun occasionally but people can’t decorate their house all the time like we see people do on KZbin. We just have to live our regular life and it’s encouraging to us to see you doing that and how well you do it. You are just such a blessing to everyone. But you do you friend. Deena I have truly loved your channel. You always did such an excellent job. I always loved your sweet encouraging words at the end of each video. The last few years have been so hard on everyone. I have back and neck problems, so can’t do the heavy cleaning I use to. Since I retired, money is tight so I don’t shop like I use to. I know doing KZbin has to be very time consuming. You could bring encouraging words, read the word bring some of your church ladies, and then have a discussion, it can be once a week or twice a week or maybe close up after all. You must do what is right for you. You have a wonderful decorating style and an equally wonderful , soothing voice. I would totally love seeing you prepare a portion of a meal or just a dessert. Although I loved seeing you decorate and show your hot chocolate bar set up along with the thoughtful snacks. If it would make it easier on you as suggested by others something short and or different from your usal style would be awesome too. Such as a mini bible study lesson one time. Or just a little 10 minute how to on making and displacing a portion of a meal you are serving. Then when and if you bought something new to decorate with and felt inspiration show us that. We love you too and just a little of you is better than not seeing you. However, if after prayer and thinking you are lead to take a longer brake... There are seasons in life. I'm at a stage of looking toward retirement and purging my home of clutter instead of constantly buying to keep up with trends. I loved your decor series when you went to stores and created venues. Other KZbinrs are showing decor on mood boards or on websites to help others visualize their space. Just a few ideas of not having to commit as much time and resources. Hugs and loving thoughts to you.

I normally do not comment on sites but felt compelled to reach out to you. I agree with Anna,the videos where you go into the stores and create small ideas there are fabulous.For those that like to buy new things each season, you could show different ways to show case them, and for those that do not want to spend money on new things- it is your gift to design things in different ways.Putting things together is the hardest part for most of us. This is just my opinion-I noticed that some YT's that I follow are trying to do too many videos and missing the quality of videos they did in the past. I noticed the trend is moving toward simplicity in decorating with minimal stuff or perhaps it is too difficult to do a lot week after week. Even Christmas decor was not the same the past 2 years as it was before. QUALITY is better than Quantity. God has given you the gift of decorating and the YT to spread his word and share your decor. How awesome. I can see that it is too much for anyone to do that much on YT. You need to be happy. Love that you have seen that it has taken so much of the time you could spend with your church family and your family. Just a few suggestions if you decide to continue even if part time- Maybe you can just do a video on major Christian Holidays with little extra bible study( like someone suggested in an earlier comment). Say Easter and Christmas. Instead of doing videos on a schedule, maybe when you decorate your home in normal time, you could share a few ideas or pictures but not every season. It truly does not have to be months before the season starts either. We all enjoy your ideas. Most of them can be used for the next Holiday anyway. If you decide to stay with YT occasionally- maybe consider what content you really enjoyed sharing and what you could cut out or if there is a different format you want to try. If you decide to quit YT- you will be truly missed in more ways that one. God will give you direction. Bless You!
